Oh boy, where to begin, I'll yap random stuff about Riley/Persecution because I don't remember really my first one and cause she's the most distinct one I have apart from Bayani (who's playthrough is not done yet).

SO, her (mainly villain) concept comes from the Shin Godzilla soundtrack. It's where the name comes from and the (probable) black and red colour scheme, when I'll get to it lol.

She was supposed to be my Argent romancer and only that but I couldn't resist making a sidestep gay for Ortega. So now it's like a weird poly thing. I'd like to think that Riley has genuine love for Ortega but there's some unresolved spite about stuff before Heartbreak, so there was this attempt to be all "I don't care about her or her feelings actually" when initially flirting with Argent. And then whoops she genuinely bonded with her over wanting to reclaim some semblance of humanity. It's a complicated mess of an ordeal lol.

Persecution ended up being more of a villain than my first sidestep, so Ortega is also actually afraid of them while knowing they are in fact Riley. Which is just... What a way to end things off until the third book. Yes, that also means Argent was the one to save Riley post crash. I can't think of anything else to say for now. Other than I definitely should have taken more notes.

Rough uniform concept for Nyco over the on base (@/n00nah on Toyhouse) redesign I did a while back. I gave up a little on the boots (??? Footwear idk what the term would be). This is what I get for having digitigrade characters sometimes.

It's just a rough thing for now cause I have him up on artfight. I think I'll EVENTUALLY make more of an armoured thing cause this loser butch is a soldier. Unfortunately I am currently lazy and busy.

Good news, fellow artists! Nightshade has finally been released by the UChicago team! If you aren't aware of what Nightshade is, it's a tool that helps poison AI datasets so that the model "sees" something different from what an image actually depicts. It's the same team that released Glaze, which helps protect art against style mimicry (aka those finetuned models that try to rip off a specific artist). As they show in their paper, even a hundred poisoned concepts make a huge difference.

(Reminder that glazing your art is more important than nighshading it, as they mention in their tweets above, so when you're uploading your art, try to glaze it at the very least.)
