I love you

- Hey guys this is my first writing as I’m getting this account started , I hope you guys like it :) !

It’s been about 2 weeks since Carl and you broke things off for certain kinds of reason which raced through your mind and crying repeatedly day and night and knowing you both live in the same exact community so you see him everyday when you leave the house to either go to meetings or gather ups but never talked to him and or walked up to him but only look at him from a distance and then look away once he looked back

It was around 7 in the morning and you got a shower taken and gotten ready for the day and fixing up your hair and doing the rest before heading out your room and downstairs to the kitchen and smelled breakfast that your mom was at the stove cooking and your father drinking his coffee and being the only child , your parents checked up on you every now and then even Rosita and some of the others

“Good morning sweetie” your mom said to you “I’m getting your favorite ready this morning , bacon and eggs” she mentioned after saying good morning

“Thanks mom but I don’t feel hungry this morning , I’m gonna go take a walk for now and come back in a hour” you said without any hesitation other than saying goodbye to them before taking your bag that was hanging on a rack and walking out the house closing the door being you seeing other people that lived in Alexandria walk around the place

While walking around the place you noticed Carl over with Rick and Michonne and you tried your best not to be seen until Rosita’s voice came up from behind you and it got your attention and turning over to her and a little smile appeared on your face and seeing a paper in her hand that she handed over to you and you took it and some what confused look appeared on your face

“There is a gather up tonight , I figured you’d come , get your mind off things and I will of course be there by your side the entire time and Carl mentioned that he wanted to talk you later tonight after the gather up” Rosita mentioned and she smiled a bit but your heart stopped when she mentioned Carl wanted to talk to you at the gathering and also your heart beating nervously as you thought about it and speechless for only about a minute

“I’ll be there” that’s the only response to give her and didn’t know what to say when she mentioned to you that Carl wanted to talk to you which it had only been 2 weeks and it made you even nervous thinking about it

“Okay , see you there” Rosita said and then you both hugged and you watched her walk away and knew you had to come up with something to say

After 2 hours into the day it was time for the gathering and you were getting ready including your parents and these gatherings were important in Alexandria and everyone expected to be there and soon it was time to leave and arriving up to the house where the gatherings happen every once and now and then and making your way through crowds of people and then stepping into the house feeling that nervous feeling coming back and hearing some footsteps coming close behind you and expect it to be Rosita or anyone else but turning around you see Carl and looking up at him while you both made the most awkward eye contact and then without any explanation he takes your hand and leading you both out the way of everyone else and then upstairs to a empty room and making it into the room and then watches him close the door and then approached over to you

“I’m sorry for how I ended things between us I really am and I’ll do anything to make it up for it you know it” Carl said with a soft tone looking down at you and you looking up at him and seeing the sadness sparkling in his eyes and you let out one sigh and then looks down and back up at him

You tried finding your words on what to say and finally you did “the best thing to do is show each other that we can start back over and I know it won’t be easy at first but my love for you still hasn’t vanished”

A smile would show across Carls face a bit which made you smile a bit also and even missing that smile of his in between sweetest moments between the two of you

You both took a second chance and then you take his hand and then placed a small kiss on his lips which he did the same without saying anything and you both smiling in between the even missing moments like these

“I love you” he said in between with a smile

“I love you too” you said softly with a smile after
