I really really love Davrin’s story.

I love that he wasn’t a gentle kid. That Davrin had to be sent to Eldrin to learn respect for nature.

I love that he’s an expert woodcarver, that he spends his free time in nature and appreciates the beauty of the world.

I love that caring for Assan helped Davrin find purpose after the realization that he was robbed of a death he had claimed as his own. That it gave him something to focus on that wasn’t Weisshaupt.

I love that, despite his outward demeanor, Davrin is not a man of exceptional duty. In fact, if you look for more than a minute, you’ll see Davrin is the King of Leaving Bad Situations. He leaves behind the restrictive traditions of the Dalish. He abandons a lucrative career. Hell, Davrin essentially leaves the Grey Wardens as soon as their purpose no longer suits his goals.

And none of this is framed as a bad thing, because it isn’t. It’s growth. It’s the kid who hunted anything that moved becoming a guardian of the living.

It’s change and purpose and hope for a future Davrin had written off as impossible.

there is always some anders take thats "he shouldnt had blow up the chantry he should had done (thing that couldnt possibly be done or plan that wouldnt work at all) instead" and that thing its never "he should had been nicer to merrill" wich wouldnt had change the general situation but. it would had been nicer to merrill.

Love that Solas’s letter says he regrets the pain he caused Lavellan but that he doesn’t regret loving her, being with her, and even confirms he still loves her.

He gives her no doubt that what they had was real, that he DOES still love her, and that he doesn’t regret it one bit. Which maybe she worried about. Maybe she worried he wished they never had met or gotten together, but he puts that doubt to rest immediately.

He doesn’t regret being with her at all, just regrets the pain he caused and tells her he wished he could’ve let himself stay with her.

UGH THIS MAN IS JUST DRAMATIC AND CONSTANTLY IN LOVE LIKE JDKSJAKAKWBWBW. HATE HIM SO MUCH.
