Vintage singles from Teisco installed in the Deluze Orphean.

It wasn't easy. The shape of the gauges has a tricky perimeter shape that expands to the base, which caused the cutouts in the plastic to be made with fittings. Also, it was necessary to redo the mounts on the sides, like the original guitar from the game. I think I got it all right. It remains to find the right humbucker and I can start to solder the electronics.

BROADCASTER Leo bought the machine to make the truss rod from Race & Olmsted on 3 October 1950 and production started at the end of the month. Innovative, as always, Leo had devised a new technique to insert the truss rod in the neck by making a longitudinal incision on the back of the neck, subsequently filled with a strip of walnut. The characteristic look that this gave the neck of the guitar earned it the nickname skunk stripe. The reinforced necks could also be recognized by the small tear-shaped plug on the headstock, nicknamed walnut plug, which covered the fastening point of the truss rod. However, for aesthetic reasons, Leo preferred using maple as the filling wood on the very first guitars; these guitars thus appeared not to have a truss rod. Don Randall had decided to call the two-pickup truss rod model Broadcaster because radio broadcasting was very popular in the 1940s: “For Leo Fender's first smash guitar, I thought and thought about what to call it. I finally decided to use something that had to do with broadcasting. I named it Broadcaster”. A bit updated version of musicmaster bridge 🌉 The three-quarter size Fender Musicmaster debuted in 1956, as a new student model in the Fender solid body range. It was joined shortly afterwards by a dual pickup companion model, the Duo-Sonic. Although these 'student' guitars were shorter scale than the Fender standard (22 1/2" vs 25"), they were not 'student' in terms of build quality - in fact very much in line with the Fender professional models such as the Telecaster and Stratocaster. The 1950s Fender Musicmaster was described as three quarter size, but the difference in size was not so great: Fender also suggested these models for more established players with smaller hands. But in truth, most experienced guitarists wanting to play widely spaced chords or the extra speed afforded by closer frets would chose the dual pickup Duo-Sonic - assuming price was not an issue! Fender always believed that if beginner guitarists chose Fender, they would more likely continue playing Fender guitars as they got older. This fact was demonstrated on the cover of the 1958 'Down Beat' brochure - an adult plays a Fender Stratocaster, whilst a child looks on, Fender Musicmaster in hand. As Fender put it in the 1976 catalog "Begin with a Musicmaster, and graduate to stardom!". The Record For The Longest Time Playing Guitar Non-Stop Is 114 Hours 20 Minutes Simply staying awake for 114 hours would be an incredible feat by itself, but how about playing guitar non-stop for 4.75 days?! 🤯 Well, that is exactly what Irishman Dave Browne achieved in 2011 at Dublin’s famous Temple Bar pub. According to the Guinness Book of World Records rules, he was allowed a 30-second break between songs, plus a 40-minute break every 8 hours. In total, he managed to play 1372 different pieces of music (which had to be at least 2 minutes long), which is around 12 songs every hour.
