1 day away!

We are now 1 day away from the gumicollab deadline submission, 10th June! Thank you very much to those of you who have submitted your work! 

If you are unable to submit on time, please let us know by replying to the email reminder and we can give you an extension. If we have not received any response or artwork after the deadline has passed, your space will be forfeited to a backup artist.

Please check the format of the submission before sending in your email. 

You can check to see whether your submission has been received by checking the spreadsheet linked to you in your acceptance email (your name will be marked off with 'Finished').

It is the 10th May, so we are now 1 month away from the submission deadline.

✨Let’s go on a new adventure!✨

We are back again this year to produce a collage of 93 Gumi drawings! Here are the previous year’s collabs for a general idea of what we’re aiming for: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020!

This year, all participants must draw underrated songs/songs under 93k views (here is a list of some examples). We are hoping people joining can find new songs they can enjoy, and be able to recommend them to others as well!

The application format is slightly different this year (not emails, but a form!) so please read all the rules even if you’ve joined previously.

How to apply:

Fill in this google form (https://forms.gle/PkLP9QLb33cWr4Tr8)

It will ask for the following information:

Name (what you want to be called)

Contact email

Website/social media with your latest art (Tumblr, Twitter, dA, Pixiv, etc)

A link with examples of your art  Please provide examples that will be a similar level to what you can make for this collab. Links to google drive/dA sta.sh/dropbox would be appreciated.

After this you will receive an email to say whether or not you have been accepted. The first batch of emails will be sent out on the 26th March.

Please do not draw a final submission unless you receive an acceptance email.

We will close applications once we get 93 artists.

Rules:

After you have been accepted you will be linked to a list of Gumi songs/outfits you can draw for. Please put your name down for one song.

You may add the song you want to draw for onto the list, but please follow the existing format of the list. If you are unsure, please contact an admin and we can check for you.

You may upload your submission onto your own blog after the final collaboration has been posted. Please tag them as with #gumicollab2021 so we can find them!

All submissions must be your own art. Any form of plagiarism will cause you to be blacklisted from all collaborations in the future.

The final submission must be: Square shaped, 1200x1200px, 144dpi, png format, simple background.

The deadline for the final submission is June 10th 2021. Please contact us in advance if you are unable to meet the deadline, or require an extension.

Hello, I send a message because they accepted me and I would very much like to draw the song “Just Breaker” and I wanted to know if they could add it to the list please QwQ

Hello! I wanted to add a song to the collab song list and I was wondering if the songs needed to have some sort of PV or modules or whatever since I'm afraid that if I illustrate the song it might not be a very recognisible song at first sight I was also wondering if you can only draw Gumi on the submission or you can also draw other Vocaloids in case it's a duet or whatever (I don't know if that figures in the rules) Thank you!

The only rules we have for the content of the drawings is that GUMI must be the main subject of the drawing, and we do not allow nsfw.

As long as you stick to the dimensions limit, we pretty much let you interpret the GUMI songs as you like. If the GUMI song does not have a official design you may design your own.
