So the blanket that Reno wears that he has draped over his shoulders?

That was a blanket his mother, Xvani, gave him when he was little. Thing is its VERY large. The idea was that Reno was supposed to grow into it. But he didn't. Cause he is small.

Reno, the Paradisian god of Thieves, Cowardice and Luck. A smug minor deity who has gotten himself sentenced to  some-odd-hundred-years of community service for committing a little theft involving a powerful scythe which belonged to The God of The Dead.

Personality: Smug, a bit self absorbed, awful at asking for help and a hopeless romantic. absolutely difficult as all hell to get along with, unless you’re blood related or he’s already got a dumb little crush. 

Primary Relationships: Xvani (Mother), Taro (Father), Thira (Twin sister), Gallowin (Cousin), Yucillion (Unfortunate guardian, a bit of a father-figure), Brook and Lio (Travelling companions), then finally Jack ( Romantic Partner).

Reno is the son of a Moon Goddess (Xvani) and a God of Chaos (Taro), he was born right after his twin sister, Thira, Reno was always significantly smaller than his sister as she takes after her mothers height and size (b i g) and Reno takes more after his father. Shortly after the twins are born their father is imprisoned for killing two other gods. 

Eventually when he gets a little older (about adolescent/teen) he discovers his father’s prison, an active volcano, Reno speaks to him regularly and forms a close bond with him, resulting in the both of them scheming to come up with a way to release him.

The plan was to steal the scythe of Axoviel, God of The Dead, to slice the volcano in two. Reno doesn’t get far before being caught. Having betrayed such a high ranking god, his punishment is banishment along with a curse. Unable to steal or speak his own name, stuck in a human form. The punishment is only to be lifted if he commits a number of good deeds. Community service, more or less.

After sometime wandering the islands he ends up in the company of Jack, a merchant, and the two of them end up getting involved in stopping the death of humanity, just normal god stuff!

Just some drawings of ideas for Reno since I wanted to maybe have him take more after his mother. His whole deal is meant to be shape-shifting so I want to really kinda lean into it more.
