Chasing Shadows, Shadows Chasing

The air, more than it ever had since first arriving in Ishgard, felt wrong.

Of course, to the observer, nothing looked to be particularly amiss. The sky was blessedly cloudless, leaving opportunity for the moon to join the street lamps in lighting the way home for the myriad tradesfolk and otherwise whose chatter drifted up and down the Foundation. Shouted farewells, idle chatter, everyday arguments – they filled the early night as easily as smoke from the surrounding factories’ stacks.

Merry company, signs of life.  It was a beautiful, peaceful sort of evening.

Why, then, did the deepening shadows feel so oppressive? Why, then, couldn’t she shake the nagging sensation that something was watching her. 

True, she felt similarly every time she’d stay up too late reading; when the material was designed to be chilling or cryptic and she was left alone with guttering candles and an overactive imagination. Such was the intent of the authors, after all!

This was different.

Adamantoise FCs

Since I’ll be keeping a presence on Aether DC after all, I’ve been thinking about moving over to Adamantoise from Siren!  I know that I’ve quite a few acquaintances on that server, so I’m wondering if anyone can recommend some casual-friendly Free Companies where Reima could build a book-nest?

FFXIV Blog Relocation

In coming back to FFXIV with more availability this year, I realize that it was high time I shifted my Tumblr presence around so that my primary FFXIV blog wasn’t tied to a single character – ah, the woes of Early Tumblr Mistakes.

While one character’s book is being placed on its shelf (for now), there’s still someone with plenty of stories to tell – but first I should probably finish that Shadowbringers MSQ, huh?

Into the Aether (Datacenter)!

Hello everyone!  My, I’ve been silent for a while, haven’t I?  After a lot of Life Juggling and a busy Almost-Year, I’ve finally made it back to FFXIV and have myself caught up on the MSQ enough to have started Shadowbringers!  

That said, I’ve transferred to Siren on the Aether Datacenter in order to enjoy the expansion with a group of friends who live closer to my real-life home.  If anyone else plays on that DC – even as an alt – feel free to reach out for my character name!  Likewise, if you have any Linkshell suggestions, I’ll be happy to take them~

I’m not intending to leave the RP community entirely, and Gwenneth is still present on Balmung as a low-level alt, but with my limited game-time lately, this seemed like the best decision.

Looking forward to continuing to enjoy the game with you~!
