I've been out of the fandom for a few months and slowly just started to come back. But I might just stay gone after seeing this take in an ACOTAR group on Facebook.

People who think this about Gwyn need to seek mental help. Why would you try to theorize Gwyn is evil, is like Ianthe, and she faked her own 🍇 all to get closer to the IC? Even when presented with facts to the contrary?

I'm just so saddened people think like this of Gwyn.

Gwyn who:

Saved the children even at the cost of herself

Watched her sister die in front of her

Spent two years healing and was scared to even go outside the Library.

Was the first to sign her name on the sign up sheet.

Who has now made friends with Nesta and Emerie.

Has Rhysand warning Nesta to be nice to... if that doesn't say anything idk what will.

Who has survived being kidnapped and forced into an Illyrian tradition and came out on top with Emerie. She didn't let her chosen sisters die or even attempt to kill them when she could have.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Azriel has been hit with The Mother's blessing. Who is on his mind on this holiday of love and has a glow in his chest for them? Gwyneth Berdar, our lovely Priestess/Valkyrie.

This glow began to blossom from when he first pictured Gwyn's teal eyes lighting up on seeing the rose necklace. It only grew more as she threw him a withering stare while throwing out the words, "See you tomorrow, Shadowsinger," which he was amused greatly by. He also can't help but notice when she hooks her hair behind her ear. I imagine he finds it quite endearing.

Love is in the air this season, and I can't wait to read their love story 🎶🩵🦇💙

Azriel questioned his religion on why he wasn't given someone as a mate when his brothers have "the other two sisters" and has seemingly lost his way.

The Mother never forsake him on giving him a mate. The Mother just had a different path for him.

That path will end up with Gwyn, a Priestess and follower of hers.

The Warrior and the Priestess. The doubter and the believer. The man and the woman who will bring him to his knees before her.

Couldn't ask for a more perfect pairing, imo ✨️

“Gwyn let out a high-pitched noise that was nothing but pure excitement. Azriel, on the other side of the ring with the rest of the priestesses, half turned at the sound, brows high.”

“They fell silent again as Gwyn shifted her feet, angling the blade. The wind waggled the ribbon again, as if taunting her

Cassian glanced over at Az, but his attention was fixed on the young priestess, admiration and quiet encouragement shining from his face.”

“Gwyn asked Az, her teal eyes bright, “What do we get if we finish the course?”

Az’s shadows danced around him. “Since there’s no chance in hell any of you will finish the course, we didn’t bother to get a prize.””

“Gwyn threw Azriel a withering stare as she strode past him. “See you tomorrow, Shadowsinger,” she tossed over a shoulder.

Az stared after her, brows high with amusement. When he turned back, Nesta grinned. “You have no idea what you just started,” she said. Az angled his head, hazel eyes narrowing as Gwyn reached the archway. ”

“There are plenty of other unspeakable things that could be happening to her,” Cassian said, voice thickening. “To Emerie and Gwyn.”

The shadows deepened around Azriel, his Siphons gleaming like cobalt fire. “You—we—trained them well, Cassian. Trust in that. It’s all we can do.””

Just imagine if Gwyn was a lightsinger in the way Azriel is a shadowsinger.

That she constantly has light around her that are sentient and talk to only her. And her light and his shadows are obsessed with each other.

So yeah, Just saw Gwyn being dragged into the whole e/riel Elain has flaws tantrum they're throwing saying "Gwynriels say e/riels don't like Elain with flaws but they can't even entertain a possibility of Gwyn being the Lightsinger" (is untrue in itself)

My dude you do realize that a character with flaws is one thing and saying a character has evil luring powers who lures people is other? When the said character has shown absolutely 0 indication of being an evil immortal being of the bog or having its powers. And even then I have seen many Gwynriels liking this theory of Gwyn being a good Lightsinger.

You are theorising about Gwyn being a lightsinger so she doesn't sink your ships, to hate on her character, to downplay her achievements and saying her friends want to see her because she's luring them?!

Meanwhile we are saying Elain just like other characters has flaws to give her some layer and character growth to make her more realistic and not a cardboard character.

See the difference? And like why do you need to drag Gwyn in every Elain debate you have?
