Another Single Valentine’s Day, another year to watch this episode.
I haven’t been super active on tumblr, or anything really. But I still love H2O and it was a huge part of my childhood, so I had to watch the episode today. :)
The logical thing to do when you’re single on Valentine’s Day is watch the Valentine’s Day episode of H2O.

As a person who is once again single on Valentine’s Day, the logical thing to do is watch this episode of H2O at some point today.
Side note: I know season 2 and 3 are no longer on Netflix, but I’ve found some other ways to watch it in case anyone else wants to watch Valentine’s Day today.
I’m not sure if it’s everywhere in the world, but all three season are included with an Amazon Prime membership via Prime Video.
There’s also a YouTube channel that has all three seasons: https://www.youtube.com/user/H2OtheOfficial/featured
The logical thing to do when you’re single on Valentine’s Day is watch the Valentine’s Day episode of H2O.

I just rewatched “Trust Issues” and I want to talk about how much I love Chris--especially at the end of the episode. I love how when he thinks Mimmi’s not ready for the two of them to date, or that she’s not interested in the two of them dating, he says it’s okay for them to just be friends. It makes my heart melt the way he talks about how it’s fine if they just want to be friends.
I love how he’s respectful about it basically in showing that he just wants them to be friends if there’s nothing more between them.

Possibly a slight rant to follow:
My least favorite episode of Mako is “The Way of the Dragon.” I loved Evie as a mermaid and hate that Evie lost her tail in the episode. I understand the reasoning behind it because they needed to show the dangers of the dragon, but I hate it.
I was just rewatching the episode and like screaming, tearing up, and crying when Evie losses her tail. It’s an emotional scene and you can see it written across everyone’s faces. So on that note, I really love how that scene was acted out, but I still hate it.
I wish there would have been some other method used so we as the audience and the Mako pod could see the danger the dragon posses. The way things end up playing out makes it seem like the writers gave Evie a tail for what they needed her to have a tail for in season 2 to help save Mako from Erik, but took it away in season 3 because they didn’t have any more use for her as a mermaid.
So in part, I really wish we had seen something like the mermaids of the Eastern pod and Evie getting their tails back at the end of the season. Weilan believed that the dragon took tails away forever which I believe could have been only from the fact that the dragon hadn’t been defeated. Once Nerissa was free, I hold on to the belief that the whole Eastern pod and Evie got their tails back because they were released from Nerissa because she was released from being the dragon.
I welcome any other ideas and thoughts others may have on this. Just make sure we’re all respectful to one another because we all love this show. There wouldn’t be blogs specifically about it if we didn’t. :)

It had been a while since I last rewatched Mako so I started rewatching it after finishing H2O. Honestly, I still fall in love with it every time I watch it over again.

In ‘Truce’ Carly and David almost see a video of Zac in the pool on Cam’s phone because Cam took a video of Zac.
I think there’s a lesson to be learned there and that lesson is to put a password on your phone. If you’ve got a password, it’s going to make things more difficult for people to see any pictures or things you may have saved on your phone that you don’t want other people to see.

About two years ago I wrote a piece for a class that was about a character I created for the H2O universe. Since I wrote it for class, I wrote it without the stuff relating to H2O so it could be a stand-alone short story.
Today in my Capstone class (basically the class intended for you to use all your knowledge about your major--I’m a writing major) I presented that piece and talked about H2O being an influence for the piece to a room of people in their twenties and above.
I was somewhat apprehensive about talking about H2O with peers because it’s a kids show, but other classmates recalled watching it and how they wanted to be mermaids because of it. I think some of them may go back and rewatch it since I told them it’s on Netflix.
Now I’m kind of proud that I was able to do that in a class and not feel like a child for still talking about a kids show. And it was great.
