Why is it necessary to remove H2S from crude oil?
Fossil fuels like petroleum and coal are the prime fuels that feed a large number of industries. Apart from industries, these fossil fuels are used for domestic purposes as well. As of today,  transportation systems rely mostly on gas and diesel. Though electric vehicles have been launched recently and are being used today, especially in developed countries, they are not as efficient as the vehicles which run on gas and diesel. Fossil fuels are natural resources that are extracted from the subsoil to satisfy the energy needs for transportation and industry. They are found deep under the sea bed, in tar sands, and in underground basins. Crude oil needs to be refined before it can be used. This crude oil is purified using an amine solution along with multiple processes to obtain gasoline, diesel and many other petrochemicals widely used in industry applications.
