I’ve been reading through all the comedy about spies reviews and I just found one that described mischief as more well drilled than the North Sea. Which I think might genuinely be the best thing I’ve ever read.
#Honestly 10/10 metaphor#Would read again#Also posting this because I got way to annoyed about the two different reviews that main complaints about the show#Was that it didn’t have enough proper story#I would love to shove the definition of a farce in those reviewers faces#Because they really seem to not get it#But I’ve decided it’s probably better to focus on the fun silly reviews#mischief theatre#mischief comedy#the comedy about spies

For some reason I completely forgot about the little polishing robot in the new episode while scrolling through the doctor who tag and I was also misreading polish(cleaning something) as polish(someone from Poland) so for a bit I thought the entire fandom was obsessing over a polish person I had missed. I was very confused.
#I was about to rewatch the episode to try and find where all the polish people I missed were#doctor who

My happy boys instrument head cannons
Eric- piano
So I know Eric is canonically an Olympic level spoon player but to me he just gives off massive piano player energy. I think he’s probably quite good but what he’s really best at is smashing out the most epic horror movie level chords you will ever hear. He also definitely composes scores for his plays in that exact style even when it doesn’t fit the play because he thinks it adds “depth”. Eric also know quite a lot of pieces including river flows in you, every show tune ever ( Eric is definitely enough of a theatre kid and definitely bored enough as a child to pull that off) and his own version of twinkle twinkle little star “coruscate coruscate minuscule nebula”
Henley- violin
In my head Henley is a violin player but unlike Eric who’s actually kind of good Henley is a terrible violin player like it is an assault on everyone for a 5 mile radius’s ears every time he plays. I think he probably first learnt it to try and impress Silvey but only ever had one lesson because he decided that his teacher crying from how painful it was to listen to was just because they were so in awe of his talent that they couldn’t possibly have anything to teach him . Henley is also definitely a massive viola hater like two set violin don’t even come close to the level of hate he gives them. Though what Henley doesn’t know is that one of the main reasons he sounds so shit is that his violin is actually a viola. His teacher never got the chance to tell him because he decided to spend his one and only 30min lesson playing a fully improvised concerto which was another reason why his teacher was crying because they just couldn’t get him to stop.
Ghoul and Gluebrick-double bass
I put ghoul and Gluebrick together on the double bass because honestly I don’t think either of them actually play instruments however I think given the opportunity ghoul would choose to play the biggest instrument possible and that Gluebrick would just kind of go along with it. Also I just really like the idea of Gluebrick kind of sitting down supporting the bass while plucking and bowing it while ghoul uses the moss of mobility to float up and hold down the strings. I reckon that as a pair they’re actually surprisingly good and well coordinated. Also one of them would definitely be making size jokes comparing Henley’s “violin” to their bass.
