GAZZA LORE:

ORIGINS:

Gazza wasn’t forged for greatness. He came out of a scrapyard zone in the outer slums of one of the major bustling cities. It was the kinda place where you learn to run before you can stand, and respect is earned through noise, speed, or swinging first. Raised among outcasts, smelters, and shady mechanics, he picked up street wisdom fast: Authority doesn’t protect you. Mateship does. He started tagging abandoned wrecks and broken structures with his own glyph-tag “GAZZA” before he even knew what ranking was. Gazza didn’t have family, or friends or mentors, he had no one to see him. It wasn’t art, it was proof he existed.

ALT MODE:

When on one of his many ventures of exploring around, he found Earth. Earth, he didn’t pick a slick military vehicle or stealth recon unit. No, he saw a beat-up 1994 Dodge Daytona parked outside a servo blaring mumble rap and jungle music, and went: “Yeah. That’s fkn me.” He adopted most of his traits from the Australian youth, their music, their fashion, their lust for rebellion.

ENLISTMENT (sort of):

Gazza didn’t want to join the Autobots, he just pissed off the Decepticons more, something you’d rather not have. Caught hacking into a black-market Energon route, carving into walls, drinking on duty, both sides tried to run him off. The Autobots picked him up, nightbeat to be specific. Gazza seemed to loosely form a bond with em. Of course not as much as his mate Torque, his personality doppelganger.

He was offered a choice, a good long Jail time or conscription? He picked conscription, only so he could cause maximum annoyance inside the system.

TORQUE –

Torque’s a wiry, silent ‘Con defector from a seedy backchannel in Kaon, and he and Gazza met during a back-alley Energon delivery gone wrong. Torque doesn’t talk much. He lets Gazza do the yelling, the running, the bullshitting. That’s what he’s good that. But when Torque does speak, it’s always something lethal, wise, or deeply inappropriate.

Their bond is like a vice, Like family. No one touches Torque. Ever. Gazza’s gone full ballistic over a scratched paint job on Torque before. Torque, meanwhile, just watches and nods like a rock statue, he never really cared much, never had to. Not when fighting for survival was your main priority in your early days.

CURRENT STATUS:

Gazza’s constantly one disciplinary meeting away from being shown the door with a swift kick. Most bots find it odd that he hasn’t yet, a sparkling has less restrictions than him, and he breaks everyone of them, like he broke Rungs arm, he loves talking, especially about causing a fuss, just not about why he’s doing causing a fuss, he saw Rung as an imposing figure, despite size there was clear authority. Authority was something that left only a bitter taste in his mouth. But his chaotic recon hacks and back alley intel saves offer enough that Command begrudgingly keeps him. He’s been relocated more times than he can count. Every base has at least one wall that says “GAZZA WAS ‘ERE.”

He acts out because he’s tired of being looked at like a lost cause, but deep down, he wants to be taken seriously. He’s not stupid. He’s just never been given power without a leash and the littlest bit of trust and understanding.
