A bit of a rant

okay so I've recently got back into Slenderverse and honestly? as much as I love the videos and lore, I loathe the fandom with every fiber of my existence

on one end, you got people who will attack you for liking HABIT or any other different character who's the true definition of a fictional villain, accusing people of condoning a character's actions just by simply enjoying them as a fictional character.

and on the other you have the hardcore canon purists that bully others for writing new AUs/Headcanons/Fluff and what have you, calling it cringe and weird because someone finds comfort in said character, regardless if they're a villain or not. it's not that serious, if you don't like what someone writes, simply ignore or block, it ain't that hard

then you have the ones who condone certain people behind the shows and pretend they didn't do anything wrong (You know who I'm talking about.) and even attack those who disagree, some who even send weird creepy asks to different HABIT blogs Fictive/DID or Roleplay type and weirding people out (Looking at you, Necro anon)

I just don't understand, Slenderverse is a FICTIONAL universe and these are characters, HABIT is fictional, every other character is fictional, fiction is supposed to be enjoyed and not taken seriously, if you don't like a character that's fine, but don't be an asshole to people who enjoy the character. because in the end we're all nerds enjoying a good spooky horror series.

also P.S. , Leave the actors tf alone, they are trying to live normal lives after the series ended, being a weirdo towards them is really gross

hello! i dont really engage with slenderverse anymore, but i used to post alot w slenderverse, specifically tribetwelve, on my old blog, so it only feels right to let people know whats going on.

TLDR; adam rosner is trying to get a job as an optometrist in florida. report him to the board of medicine with information about what he has done. also heres proof hes an ass if you need it but if you look through it its super triggering and gross and bad. (i do reccomend you read the post in full or at least skim).

adam rosner is currently seeking employment as an optometrist in the state of florida. for the sake of proof, im linking his professional website here, which also contains his professional social medias.

for those of you unaware/out of the loop: adam rosner has groomed, abused, sexually assaulted, and hurt many, including and especially minors. he’s also made some rather concerning sexual comments about trans people and animals, along with fantasizing about sexual assault*. he also created the online slenderman series “tribetwelve” which is pretty dogshit and you shouldnt watch. theres better ones from smaller creators, along with the other two poster-child series. watch those instead.

*which he did say this all to someone who at the time was under 18, by the way.

its some seriously fucked up shit. as of late it seems people have forgotten about adam with even some spaces cropping up in support of him, despite gratuitous evidence he has seriously hurt others repeatedly, with him even saying/implying his biggest remorse is that is hurt his online image (closer to the end of the linked video, although if you can stomach it i again reccomend you watch it all). in the video linked he even tries to hazard that autism made him be predatory towards children, which (pretty much) any autistic person knows that autism = pedophilia.

so like. what do we do about this?

for starters, DO NOT USE THE “CONTACT” BUTTON ON HIS OFFICIAL WEBSITE. well technically i guess you can, but only if you’re using a vpn or .onion page. his website host uses IP addresses to detect and eliminate spam. which is bad for us, good for him.

so what can we do if not blow up his inbox? simple. adam rosner is currently seeking employment in the state of florida. thankfully, the state of florida also has the florida board of medicine. here you can contact them about adam rosners misconduct and explain why he should not have a liscense due to his concerning past online behavior.

theres also a florida health liscensing board, of which is moreso meant to take complaints after medical malpractice, but i am bringing up just in case.

but, importantly, don’t shut up about any of this. while its important to be careful while doing keyboard warrior bullshit as to not overstep lines and boundaries, its also important the topic doesnt die. “fuck adam rosner” in your bio doesnt mean much if you never go out of your way to spread information and support victims.

I underlined some of them to point out specific wording too. like his mania!!!! he tends to experience highs and lows and he's constantly shifting around in what emotions he's feeling. During a manic episode, ppl with BPD might experience an extremely elevated or irritable mood. They may also experience having a lot of thoughts all at once and talking super fast.

In some of these I included his interactions w Roger, When Vinnie met Roger he didn't have Jeff or Evan anymore since they disappeared on him, and when Roger appears with answers or as close to answers as he can get Vinnie latches on IMMEDIATELY. He was so desperate for any kind of friend, any kind of interaction and he got it with Roger. You can see that Vinnie is happy when he's with him, and his headspace is clearly in a good place.

But the moment Roger leaves him alone, EVEN IF IT WAS JUST FOR 20 MINUTES, Vinnie could not TAKE IT. it was unexpected, he didn't know where he was, he had never been there before. He felt completely abandoned by Roger and you can see as the tapes go on how this affects how Vinnie treats him and how he thinks about Roger.

I think in this moment Vinnie started to split on Roger.

Vinnie is now only convinced that Roger is exploiting him, and that Roger isn't that same guy who he met in the beginning. He can barely even stand talking to Roger at the end of the series, and it was honestly for Rogers benefit. He didn't want Roger to go through what he went through. (sucks that habit got him anyways)
