Marius would accidentally have bug rizz by catching a dragonfly and giving it to Éponine. He's just impressed that he was able to catch the beastie, and Éponine although confused finds it romantic.
After Éponine reunite with Cosette, Cosette gives her a cicada.
Éponine continues to get more confused.

Spoke to a gen z person the other night and apparently the young folks don't know about the very legal sites from which you can access public domain media (including Dracula, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and other Victorian gothic horror stories)?
Like this young person didn't even know about goddamn Gutenberg which is a SHAME. I linked to it and they went "aw yiss time to do a theft" and I was like "I mean yo ho ho and all that, sure, but. you know gutenberg is entirely legal, right?"
Anyway I'm gonna put this in a few Choice Tags (sorry dracula fans I DID mention it though so it's fair game) and then put some Cool Links in a reblog so this post will still show UP in said tags lmao.

anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.

Hi Mellow! I have kind of a weird request(?) Some years ago someone (idk who) posted some videos of a small LesMis production they were in, in Brasil. they were tagged with #lesmiserablesbelem and while there were a few videos, the main one im looking for is a vid of grantaire singing a verse of On My Own they made up for him (all in portuguese) i thought i had reblogged it, but i cant find it anywhere on my blog and the ogs seem to have been deleted (but reblogs should still exist). Do you or anyone happen to remember these/ have reblogged these before? Thank you so much.
(sorry it took so long to answer) I actually don't know this one!! Maybe someone else on Tumblr does?

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment at the decision by the Labour Party to proscribe Palestine Action. I would like to know: do you support this decision?
Palestine Action has stood up for humanity where the government has failed. In the face of a government that continues to arm Israel during its ongoing assault on Gaza, are we now calling non-violent direct action terrorism?
As your constituent in [location], I ask you directly: Do you believe that standing against war crimes is criminal?
Do you support Labour’s position to ban a protest group standing up for Palestinian rights when Labour has not exerted enough force to prevent the genocide against Palestinians?
Will you represent the overwhelming number of people in the UK who oppose arms sales to Israel?
Will you stand with Palestinians, and with the people of [location] who demand justice?
More than 55,000 Palestinians have been killed. Hundreds of thousands more have been injured, maimed, and displaced. We cannot be on Israel's side. They are enforcing state violence, and the UK is complicit.
Palestine Action is not a terrorist group. It is a movement of people who have acted because the government has refused to. Ordinary citizens are left with no option but civil resistance, as peaceful calls for justice are ignored again and again.
Please take a public stand. I urge you to speak out against this unjust ban and support the right to protest and defend human rights. The UK government must be held to account and so must the Labour Party.
