it does feel that way! that is a nice balance. i haven't lived close to mine for a while. rob's family is still in the uk, i'm assuming? he is ten months old, can't believe one is so close. that is still something as far as sensory for him! it is a very good thing! it can go out to more places, i won't have to do the pop ups. new york would be better, i think? my family is still there, granted upper but that would be closer and i just feel like it's right. he...has a habit of it without meaning to.

Seems like you and I are in the same boat with a lot of things. I’ve still got a few friends who don’t have kids, yet. Which is a nice healthy balance. Not living close to your family must be hard, though. I wish that robs family lived closer to us. How old is your little one again? Noah doesn’t really do too much in those classes. Just crawls around and sometimes bangs on an instrument. Having the backing of a bigger company is a good thing, right? Means you can get it out to more places. I know it was hard for us to get good dye young into places but we got there. Would New York be better for you? I hope he doesn’t make life too difficult for you.

i don't think you know how my self esteem took a hit. so yes, i'm shocked by it! he's been in the spot light basically since he was a kid, just like you. i'm doing my best to avoid it and focus on what's important. i am possibly taking you up on that!

Uhh, yeah you do. You're really shocked over that? With a big name like his, I can see how it's hard to avoid it. But staying out of the limelight is a great start. I'm sure things seem heavy now, but you'll get there. And if you ever need distractions I'm here for ya.

most of my friends had kids quite a few years before me. i also don't live super close to my own family. that isn't too bad! i am going to try to sign jack up for things like that once he's a bit older. rhode is now under the umbrella of elf cosmetics. i'm still involved but it's just getting everything figured out. i'm debating a move to new york full time but that involves dealing with a lawyer and getting my ex to agree to that as well. oh! got it.

Oh, me too. But that's probably because I started a lot later than a lot of my friends with the whole kids thing. At least my sisters twins are only a year older than Noah so that's not too bad. Oh, yeah - we do some of those music classes at the library and things. Forgot about that, ha. What do you have going on? I'm pretty bad at keeping up with a lot of things. Mostly based in Nashville but if Robs needed somewhere then he's getting tag alongs in the form of me, Noah and Alf.

that's a good point! though i'm worried that i'm going to end up humming that theme song during something important. i know they won't and i am not taking it at all for granted. plus, you know, shared custody? so i only get to see half of those big moments. i guess that's a good point. i am looking forward to seeing my products be readily available in actual stores. i was exploring the idea before the deal took place!

At least Bluey is cute to look at, right? Just remember that these days won't last forever and it'll all come to an end, and then you'll wish it lasted a bit longer. She suffers with me, but that doesn't mean that friends can't suffer with us, especially if they also have kids! Then we can talk about it! it is and i guess that's a good point. i just would like to think we are past all that. they are and holding on to hope is all we can do. i really am in the spotlight and i know i married someone who grew up in it. though these days he's avoiding it as best he can. i've managed to keep the important things private and i'll keep doing that!

That's just how the cookie crumbles, for sure. If you prefer not to have any contact then that's fine too. That's good that things have been getting better though. Holding out for hope is all one can really do these days. Considering that you're in such a spotlight and married one of the biggest stars...it won't stop, but all you can do is brush it off and not even give it a second thought.

he does! i have friends who are obviously moms but their kids are all a lot older. i figure it might not be a bad idea? i have jack signed up for play groups and everything but not the same. that's good to know! i am currently bouncing between manhattan and los angeles. it really depends on the week since i have so much going on? what about you?

He does? You know - sometimes he has good ideas cause Noah mainly hangs out with kids in the family - he doesn't have too much experience with other babies that aren't considered family. He's an alright planner when it matters. The tricky part is organizing if we're ever going to be in the same city - where are you currently locating yourself?
