being a fan of like real life bands is way funnier than anything else because whenever they say something weird and ur like "why did he say that" you have to remember theres no author or anything who made them say that. they said that with their own free will

whether anything gay ever actually happened between them unfortunately i do think ryan ross and brendon urie perfectly fit the archetype of weird insane intense homoerotic friendship in your teens-early 20s that is absolutely devastating and also they forever stay so thoroughly entwined in your Narrative and your Lore in regard to relationships/sexuality because the friendship happened at such an intense and foundational point of young adulthood which is miserable because the friendship fucking crashed and burned so you would really rather just forget about it and moveon. like i do think this is what happened to them. whether they ever actually fucked or kissed or even had feelings or not. i think they were probably...i think things were probably at least weird. they were eighteen and out of the house for the first time doing stagegay together i simply refuse to believe it wasnt getting into their heads at least a little. it just cannot be helped. when you are eighteen. and then brendon fucking talked about ryan in the article where he came out as gay for real. because the first gay bar he ever went to. was with ryan. thats just simply not something you can undo. ryan is haunting his narrative in the way only a homoerotic ex best friend would

bands like panic at the disco and fall out boy obviously arent real emo. obviously. that would be ridiculous. but hardcore and screamo bands from the 2000s that also get called emo arent emo either. of course. that would be stupid. but the bands that originated the "real emo" sound in the 90s werent calling themselves emo🙄. so to my understanding emo doesnt exist at all
