Time for a Tumblr Break

So, I thought about it and I’m going to be taking a little hiatus from this Tumblr account.

I’m just not that motivated to come here and go through my dash everyday and try and keep up with everything right now so I think a break is in order.

I will mostly likely still log in and poke about, but don’t expect too much from me.

Seriously, the best graphic novel ever. I regret not reading it again sooner.

Smiley is one of my favorite characters. His vest isn’t accurate but I didn’t really ref the pic all that much since it was a doodle. I want to draw some more fanart later.

Oh, yes! This post is awesome! I love this picture of Smiley! I-I really like Smiley ♥ This is just awesome! (You've always been able to draw cigars and cigarettes so well - what's that about? lol)

"Where did you get your hat?"

Well, just wore my first crocheted hat project out today and already received a compliment! Went to get a coffee for me and my sister and the barista asked me "Where did you get your hat?" to which I happily replied "I made it!" Ahh – I love it when that happens.

She went on to say that she thought it would go well with the shirt she was wearing lol I agreed with her.

I  will add a picture soon, but, I hope to remake it with different yarn. Now, on to my next "kinda secret" project. Hee-hee!

First Look of the Day: Courtesy of Disney Pixar France comes the first non-concept-art look at Princess Merida, the female protagonist of Pixar’s 13th feature-length film Brave — the first Pixar film to feature a female lead (Kelly Macdonald), and the first to be co-directed by a woman (Brenda Chapman).

Brave, which is set “in the mystical Scottish Highlands,” also features the vocal talents of Julie Walters, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Craig Ferguson, Kevin McKidd, and Robbie Coltrane.

A release date has been set for June 22, 2012.

Although I’m happy that people are expressing their love for KITH, I’m also very possessive and entitled. It’s like, we are the KITH experts on Tumblr. We single-handedly created the the KITH Tumblr fan community. It’s ours, go away!!!! What especially bothers me is the people who post about their love for KITH when they’re just mild fans of it. Bitch, you don’t get to post about KITH if it’s not your favourite TV show and/or your obsession. So bitch, move on mmm-hmmm.

I agree with Tavie and CreamConeCoffee. KITH does not belong to any one group of fans – it "belongs" to all who enjoy it. Because you post lots of KITH posts  to Tumblr, only one once in a while, or none at all does NOT make a person any more or less of a fan in my eyes. I was posting KITH pics here on Tumblr (even making Valentine Cards to spread the KITH love) before any group (besides FuckYeahKidsInTheHall) was really doing it, and when I would see other KITH posts, I was excited to see them, not mad. Being a KITH fan should not be a competition and it's incredibly disappointing to see people belittling other fans and saying they are not true fans without even knowing them.

Is it weird that I get really pissed when someone who's not a Kitten or at least associated with the Kittens posts something about KITH on Tumblr?
