The more poses you make as a pose creator, the more things you learn and the more things you see. 

Maybe you have seen my former post, maybe not. But I want to address again that stealing is not OK. 

I use and see a lot of poses almost everyday, I reblog and maintain the poses masterlist (@ts4-poses), I am a sims-storyteller that loves to pose with poses from other creators for my story and ofcourse, make my own poses to share. But also...

I recognize my flaws in my own poses, my poses are not perfect, I learn everyday, that's why I knew this pose was mine. But by now, we have found 15 posecreators that have been done the same to, by Simsulani. And maybe you have seen in Toys of Dukeness their patreon post there is possibly another pose creator KD89 doing the same to them. What led to them deleting all of their content in our community. And seeing something leave the community over this, is sad. We lost already so many talented creators due to this.  

You have to know, Simsulani @hellosimsulani has around 20k followers on her patreon and about 200 people that support her by paying money to her. No, I'm not jealous, I share my poses because I want you to use my poses in-game. I'm not here in any way to have any financial gain. And I know this is the case of many others on the list down here that were affected. We want to make you happy, to be able to tell your story. 

But this money (maybe even your money) that she is earning over other people's creations that she adjusts, is not earned in a fair way. 

She violates many of the other posecreators TOU's. 

Besides taking poses and adjusting them, she adds accessories to the patreon post instead of linking to people's pages. (@simmisstrait her letterboard in this post) That's okay if it’s deleted, but doing so when this creator is still active? That’s not ok (only if it's okay stated in their TOU)

In her own TOU she even states that you can't take her poses and re-upload somewhere else. But clearly it's okay to do it if she does it?

After finding out about Toys of Dukeness and Acha-games, I found out my own pose got stolen and adjusted, and after that I got a lot of messages and pictures. People started helping investigate their own poses. These are the things we found. Thanks to @theserenadeofshadows her detective skills and her super SUPER hard and dedicated work this weekend (she is one of these 15), she made this amazing doc with the proof she and others found. At least a few posepacks are not her poses entirely. If we had more photographic memory skills and time, who knows what we could find out more.

If you are a pose creator, please check if maybe one of your own poses got stolen, though she is very good at camouflaging it. It is incredibly hard to notice the stolen poses at first glance, it is a real frankenpose fiasco. @theserenadeofshadows tried to dissect the poses and find the original creators, and we found this stated in the doc, but know it is a slow and tedious process, so we can't find every pose and or posepack.

Groups and couples got split up and merged. Places in groups got swapped and/or rotated. Normal couples or single poses suddenly got a kid or partner (or both). Some expressions were made clownesque, exaggerated or the eyes closed. To make it even harder, she added accessories or removed them. She changed the body anatomy (resulting in broken poses sometimes) to make it appear different.

You can spot some weird clipping or gaps in the previews sometimes. 

We are not out to cancel someone, we stand for creativity and hope Simsulani will think about her actions and start making her own poses from scratch. Not stealing someone else's time because you need to create for your patrons. I know myself Patreon gives you a certain pressure to create for the people who pay for you, because you don't want to let them down. 

But doing this by stealing and putting it behind early access to earn a quick buck because you have no time or are too busy? 

Not OK. In no way.

Not a new simblr, but I've been away for a long time now (my queue was filled but I wasn't actively participating in the community) and I would really like to come back.

One reason why I lost motivation to spend more time on simblr is because it felt lonely, the engagement definitely isn't as it once was when I first joined this place. But I feel like if more of us try to be more active and talk to one another, together we can change the vibe of this place.

So, reblog if you're also looking for simblr friendships, mutuals who will hype you up while you hype them up too, or if you just want to find more likeminded people <3 Definitely go through the reblogs and share some love. 💗

Edith is a very loved and happy little girl♥

Michael is obviously a stay at home dad, so he is the one who spends more time with Edith, but because he doesn't talk she sometimes starts to cry when he is trying to interact with her. She seems to like him more when he has the mask on and it really bothers him, because he already thinks he is not enough as a person... The fact that she prefers the part of him that he hates hurts him a lot...

The truth is that Edith prefers him in the mask, because she thinks his real face looks too sad and she doesn't like to see him sad. Hopefully, once she gets older, she will be able to communicate with him better.

I guess since twitter is going to shit ( now I can't even message, post, comment or like because apparently I am in twitter jail now XD) I am going to resume being more active here, I will have to revamp my tags & posts...

In the meantime have a cute Michael & his daughter screenies <3 I sent him to the playground with her and the poor man was so tired, he kept falling asleep on the street, so the walk home was very long XD

Yesterday I spent all my free time by making poses for my Halloween/Nightmare on Elm street fanfic. I have so many scenes from it that I want to recreate in the Sims...

These poses are quite specific, so I am not sure if anyone would be even interested in them, if you would want me to upload these poses for everyone to use please let me know :) 

These scenes are from the time when Riley worked as a nurse at Smith's grove sanitarium in 1984. She finally met Michael again for the first time after the events of Halloween 1978. I am not comfortable sharing my fanfiction with everyone just yet, but I am gonna post various scenes from it and maybe even some writings/explanations ♥

I always wanted to learn how to make poses and last week I finally managed to find the will to actually get on with that. I am so happy to share my first small pose pack with all of you. It took me about 10+ hours from creating the pose to taking pictures and assembling the package 😅

This pose set is inspired by my Halloween/Nightmare on Elm street fanfiction. I wanted to make couple poses that would fit someone broken being accepted and comforted by the other person.

Autumnal backpacks - recolors

I wanted some more fitting backpacks for my high school build, so I recolored the base game backpacks in some autumnal colors & patterns.

So I thought I might also share it with everyone :)

9. Heatwave

Summertime funtime at the Myers household 😁

They ended up having a waterballoon fight and Michael didn’t even try to dodge Judith’s attacks. He knew well he deserved them (...and much much more 🥺).

8. Flower Crown

One summer day Riley took Michael out for a picnic to get him out of the house for a bit, they don’t really get to go out much for obvious reasons.

And when they do go out Riley usually takes him somewhere where there is a little chance of encountering other people. Not because she wouldn’t trust Michael to behave, but because she wants to spare him from the hateful/fearful looks his presence causes in most people.

They had a quiet afternoon where Riley read to him from the Alice in Wonderland book. Then she gave the book to him while she started to make a flower wreath from the wildflowers like she used to do when she was a child. It didn’t take Michael long to finish the book and then he curiously watched her instead.

She noticed him looking at her and she sat up, taking the flower wreath from her head and placing it on him. “Look at you, handsome prince.” She smiled at him.

Michael looked at her unconvinced, trying to search her eyes for something, but all he could see was her looking at him softly. He knew that he should smile, but he just couldn’t. He didn’t know how. 🥺

As she stroked his cheek in an attempt to comfort him, she noticed his hesitation.

(Why are you still here....with me?) Michael asked in ASL, turning his face away from her. (I am...not good) his gaze dropped on the ground (You always treat me like... I am somebody...but I am not... I can never be...)

Riley held his face in her hands, forcing him to look at her. “Michael, stop. Look at me. No matter what they say about you, You are a person, you always were. They kept telling you weren’t for so long that you started to believe them. But it is not true. You did some horrible things that can’t be taken back, but you are trying to overcome your darkness. And I promise you I am gonna be here for you every step of the way. No matter how long it’s gonna take you. I am never gonna give up on you, because when you love someone you never stop believing in them, no matter how lost they might be.”

Michael watched her as she spoke and if he was able to cry, he would.

(I...don’t deserve you)

She leaned closer and kissed him. “You are enough to me the way you are, Michael.”

At these words he kissed her back and it didn’t take long for them to clumsily undress each other and make love. They were already intimitate once before, but it still feels quite awkward, she's very shy and he’s super careful and conscious with his touch, because he’s scared of hurting her.

Honestly, Riley never imagined that she is ever gonna be naked outside of the bedroom, but since she found out that Judith‘s ghost was living with them, there was a part of her that felt slightly uncomfortable being this close to Michael while there was a good possibility that the ghost of his sister might be watching them.🙃

The Myers siblings aren’t very good when it comes to privacy XD

And part of Riley felt that it would not be fair to Judith, she didn’t want to hurt her even more. Her and Michael’s relationship was fragile as it was and Riley imagined that Judith could get triggered by seeing them doing something that she could never experience again.

7. New skill

Riley decided to teach Michael how to cook. Not that she doesn't enjoy cooking for him, cooking for people she loves is her hobby, but more for safety reasons, so Michael doesn't set the kitchen on fire again when he'll try to surprise Riley with dinner one day 😆

Judith was watching them like the sweet sister that she is 🙃 She's also living vicariously through them since her chances to meet someone and fall in love are very low... Considering she is dead and can't leave the house...

With Riley's help Michael managed to bake honey cake. Look how proud of him Riley was <3 He could look happier, but you know, he's a glass-half-empty kinda guy 🙃

They ended up eating the cake together, even Judith decided to take a bite as a gesture of support for her brother, because she couldn't feel the taste anyway.

Michael often stares at Judith, but only when she is not looking at him, he can’t bear to look her in the eyes 🙃 Even though she said she had forgiven him for taking her life, their relationship is well...complicated, but they still clearly care for each other even if it is difficult to look at each other. 🥺

A while ago I made a few actor NPCS for my rotational save and because I am a very detail oriented person of course I also had to create movie posters with them and hang them in the Simwood lounge in Del Sol Valley that I renovated.

I made it for myself, but I am posting the movie posters & billboards for anyone who would be interested to use them.

I am not really a CC creator, so it’s just a standalone recolor of Get Famous posters & billboards.
