time for hammxrtime to take a rest.

so first things first, i’m not leaving the community or anything. i’m simply just remaking nora. yeah i remade her awhile back but i feel its time for a complete change. so as of tonight, this blog is archived! the last post on this blog will be the promo for my new blog and i hope to see all of your beautiful selves over there!

thank you all for the memories that have been shoved into the hammxrtime basket and for all the love over the 3-ish years! now we’ll make more memories and share more love over at my new nora blog! <3

Was is so clear to the cat that her girlfriend was internally panicking so much, over nothing but what popped into her mind? Her mind had a habit of jumping to the worse case scenario, even if everything was fine and there were no signs of bad situations. In fact everyone was laughing around her and having happy conversations, she even had a smile on her face but that didn’t stop what she felt inside. 

Ruby was strumming on her guitar, Yang was telling her jokes, Weiss was shaking her head at them but unable to hold back a few laughs. Jaune and Ren were laughing as well, Pyrrha was trying to hand at making jokes, Blake was reading over some sheet music but keeping an ear on the conversation- a small smile on her face in reaction to the shenanigans. Nora on the other hand was just smiling and watching, trying to silence the anxiety that banged pots and pans in her.

Her eyes averted slightly, she looked down at her pink capris and hands- realizing how red her thumb and pointer finger were from rubbing them together; an absentminded action she did when she was battling some internal demons. Apparently those small movements caught the attention of Blake, and next thing Nora knew she was pulled out of her deep thoughts and pulled closer to her love. Turquoise hues watched Blake intently and she leaned into the touch, one of her hands latching onto one of the guitarist’s arms- holding on as if she was going to slip away from the ginger.

Once Nora was in Blake’s arms, her anxious feelings started to simmer down and she felt like she could breathe again. The hand that was on the cat’s arm moved down to tangle with her hand, and the smaller girl brought it up to her lips to press a loving kiss to Blake’s knuckles. 

“ I adore you. “

She mumbled softly, nudging her nose against her girlfriend’s jaw.

Her smile widened as Blake shook her hand and smiled back at her, feeling a sense of warmth and calmness spread in her. Nora lifted her other hand and wrapped it around the back of the others so that both of her hands were holding the Faunus’ in a casually affectionate manner- something that came naturally to the ginger.

“ Thank you, that means so much. Although you might not have been the one to directly accept me into this show, it means a lot that you’re even talking to me. I thought I was going to have to make an idiot of myself to get someone to talk to me, though everyone seems lively and chatty- I’m not used to people starting the conversation. “

Nora had been traveling all over, constantly starting up conversations with people and being very friendly- only to get disregarded like a salesperson on the street. She wanted more than just a passing conversation, she wanted something that would be held and would mean something to her. But every conversation that lasted more than a minute seemed to mean something to her. 

She let go over Blake’s hand and bent down slightly, picking up the suit cases that were placed on either side of her frame. 

“ So, since we’re going to be around each other quite a bit- might as well get to know each other. What’s your act, friend? “
