I made a small helicopter out of pipe cleaners and a rubber band when I got bored as a kid. A smoke bomb out of tooth paste. Gold and diamonds would certainly make it look good, but my pet projects don’t need to be fancy yet.” Though he’ll admit, he was a bit peeved Jervis wasn’t impressed. But he’ll power through. Wally had inspired him to venture out past the barriers of what he had deemed safe since he was a kid, and he managed. 

“Besides,” He pats one of the scraps. “It feels right.”

Leo felt like he should get some kind of praise for being so patient with this kid. Although the kid had calmed down considerably with the whole “you’re evil” talk, he was still annoying in the mechanic’s eyes. 

Finally, he let out a long sigh. “Did you need something, or am I your babysitter for tonight? Because if so, I feel like I should get paid somehow.”

Every next second or so the speedster stood on his tip-toes to try and poke whatever new thing Leo had been working on. If it wasn’t for Bart being Wally’s little cousin, it was certain Leo would already had him out on his ass hours ago!

“If we kill him, Jon’s location dies with him.” Superman said calmly, frowning at Shade who had appeared. He was glad he was here though. It was taking all his self control to keep from tearing everyone apart limb from limb. (You don’t mess with his kids. Lois can take care of herself, but his son????)

Kal-el didn’t like that Shade was willing to do things like murder, but he had to admit that it got results. Maybe just the threat of him being here would make the man cave and tell them where his son was. 

“Superboy is a child,” He turned towards Brother Blood. “Give him back, and I won’t put you in a body cast and leave you drinking through a straw for the rest of your life.” Not that he would, that was too cruel, but his blood was boiling.

Jon was missing, taken by some madman intent of siphoning his power. It would not by the first time that Shade had run into Brother Blood, but it may well be the last. Threatening a child like that, it was unthinkable. Even one as powerful as Jon. Clark had been threatening him, but Brother Blood laughed. “What will you do, kill me,” Blood taunted, laughing again. “They boyscout? I think not!”

Shade had been lingering in the shadows, watching. This felt like the right time to step into view. Emerging from the shadows, tendrils of grasping darkness following him, Shade uttered in threatening hushed tones, “he may not be willing to, but I am, Brother Blood. Tell me what you have done with the boy, or this day shall be your last.”

((I didnt mean to vanish like that. but consider this a notice that i’ll be low activity for the months of november and decemeber. i work at walmart and although they had cut my hours, things have been busy and ive been too emotionally worn out to rp beyond chatting on wire. please feel free to add me on discord if you want, as i can do a bit more on there. i’ll try to get some stuff queued on tuesday when i have off. thank you for your understanding

a message to anyone fighting their brain tonight: 

a lot of times your brain will tell you something that feels real… it will tell you you’re not good enough, or that you deserved something bad to happen to you, that you’re crazy, or unloved, or a burden… anything that makes you feel shitty.   but, it’s not true.  look at those thoughts.  really look.  pick them apart.  unravel them and point out all the reasons why they’re not true.   list out your accomplishments, and people that care about you.  even if you can only think of one or two, that’s okay.  it’s hard to think straight when you feel like this.  but just focus on those things. focus on the good.    no, it won’t be easy.  and it won’t work every time.  but, practice at it. It’ll take work for it to start coming naturally… but, before you know it, you might find yourself picking apart those thoughts without even realizing it. 

you’re amazing. you’re strong, and lovable. you deserve to be cared about, and listened to. you deserve good things.      and if anyone tries to tell you differently — even if it’s your own brain — you just beat them up in a dimly lit denny’s parking lot, my dudes, ‘cause they’re lying douchecanoes and you’re awesomesauce.

plot synopsis:  your muse is thrown into universe 4639-b, a strange version of new york where not much has really changed for the most part…except they have no idea how they got there, or when, or why- a strange fog rolls in, people are screaming, what’s going on? 

they look to the sky and see it, the abomination watching over them, looming they check their pockets, and they find a small notebook, a phone, and a card with their names and their universe. 

their goal is to find out what’s going on, and make it back home safely. their families and friends are waiting.
