How did it become Leo’s thing to deal with speedsters?? They weren’t even native to Wonderland! The damn bats and birds were!! He could handle them! Still, Impulse was related to the Kid Flash that had been visiting him occasionally, so he was going to treat this other kid as nicely as he could manage. 

“Maybe don’t run into a trap next time, ok?” He finished wrapped up the kid’s ankle, making sure it was stiff enough to make moving a lot harder. “Nothing’s broken, at least. You just tore some muscles after getting that rope around your legs and loosing your footing.”

At least Hatter was out for the moment. Sneaking around made him anxious, but he didn’t quite want to tell his boss and dad figure that he was meeting a costumed hero during some of his free time.

“You’ll hafta stay here for a  bit while it heals. You guys heal fast right? Cause you’re a bit more than human? Do I have that right? I’ve never seen the Jabberwock heal as fast as Sonic.” Ever since Wally had said he didn’t like that nickname, Leo made a point to use it.

Thad grabs Bart by the shoulders and shakes him once with a wild look in eye. He swears Bart’s doing this to annoy him. He swears he cannot be cloned from, that he can’t share a majority of the same DNA with someone who thinks this specific song has anything to do with ‘crabs’.

Thad had been staying with Max’s family for a few weeks, which had been nice all for the awkwardness between Thad and Max’s other trainee, Bart the the person that only a while ago Thad had kidnapped and replaced and whom he had been raised to hate. So yeah that made the dinner table a bit weird.

Max had asked Thad to try to at least try to get along with Bart since they were living together and it might be a good first step in taking control of his life instead of letting the Thawne family decide for him.

Thad stood in front of Bart’s bedroom door, he wasn’t really sure what he was going to say, he just knew he needed to get it so he and Bart could get along, mainly so Max wouldn’t brother him about it. So Thad knocked on the door.

“Hey it’s me, mind if I come in? I wanna talk.”

Tim didn’t like to see any of his friends upset, but especially not Bart. It was such a rare thing that for it to happen it usually had to be something pretty bad. Thankfully, his reassurance seemed to have helped and when Bart leaned his head against his shoulder, Tim wrapped an arm around his friend.

“Good. You’re great too, Bart.” And he was, even though he could go on Tim’s nerves sometimes too, but that was part of friendship too. Especially when spending as much time together as they did.

Bart has a love-hate relationship with every time Tim gets hurt. Obviously, he doesn't like Tim getting hurt. But- they have an agreement that every time he does get hurt he has to take a break of a minimum of 24 hours.

Thus. Bart gets his snuggle time.

This brings back memories... here they are, the two of them –and, oh, what a pair they make darting this way and that– standing in downtown Central City, trying to corral a group of juiced idiots wielding guns—juiced idiots granted superspeed. Just our luck.

bullets spray in nearly every direction as he ducks and zips out of the way. Wally isn’t entirely sure just where they received their drugs, but he doesn’t remember anybody getting a sample of his blood. It’s like Velocity all over again. Ugh.

regardless, he can’t let them carry on. semi-automatic weapons and high speed simply don’t mix. ( although, these guys would probably say otherwise. ) glancing over to Bart, the redhead calls out to his companion, words a jumbled mess to prevent the rogues from understanding his direction, ❝ Go-Right!-I’ll-Go-Left!-We’ll-Circle-Around-For-A-Quick-Whirl-Of-Wind,-Yeah? ❞

he doesn’t spare the younger speedster another glance as he takes off. running around the group of five men in a tight circle, he kicks up his speed to block them from slipping through. he can only hope Bart doesn’t give into goofing off, and instead listens to his orders. Kid is hardheaded, but good at improvising - I just would rather he didn’t this time.

Well...he honestly should have expected that from a superhero he guessed, especially one that seemed young enough to still take everything very literally. He just let out a bitter laugh, so much for his after work snack.

“Well....I was going to enjoy my coffee and danish....but well...” He looked distraught at the danish that was now on the floor after a near collision with the young speedster. “I guess it will make the birds happy.” Thankfully, he had saved his coffee.
