In the guest room.” It’s not a question, not really. Of course Buck’s staying, and for a fleeting moment, Eddie almost feels bad. For Marisol, for Buck, maybe even a little bit for himself. But that feeling quickly fades when Buck takes a step forward, his chest brushing against Eddie’s as he leans in and whispers, “guess I’ll see you later, then,” before moving past Eddie and into the house. Eddie swallows, takes a deep breath to steady himself and then he follows Buck inside.
