I was up half the night contemplating Gabe's metabolic needs both post-SEP and post-Moira and I've concluded that CONSTANT CELLULAR REGENERATION is a massive energy sink and Gabe was probably just hangry when he murdered Antonio. And decided Overwatch had to go. And picked that outfit. (Also Akande has to have a similar problem you don't get that jacked unless you're just constantly wolfing down protein)

Dude yes I almost ran out of gas in the middle of a 300 mile stretch of nowhere desert keeping the tank full is a necessity!!!

like if you have the means then there’s no reason to let your range dip below say 60 miles (or whatever that is in sensible human units). If you don’t then godspeed, I hope you have a good grasp of your fuel burn if you also have a vehicle, keep your tires well inflated.

Refusing to stop to get gas(charge?) when there's almost 1/4 of a tank (battery?) left while not knowing how long it'll be till another station. A constant argument in my car on trips.

I dont know what it is about your writing, but I always go back to reread it. Idk the way you use words never gets stale, your angsty shit hurts as much the fifth time as it did the first time, and I just keep going back for more, looking for those little hidden meanings. There is literally nothing else like it (that I can find) on Ao3. Best stuff around. I'm starving for more.

But for real, I think I had the most trouble with the fourth chapter. It was the one I’d fleshed out the least ahead of time, and that’s also why it was the shortest. (Also I left something out of it and I’m still kicking myself.) It was also kind of the point of no return for some of the threads, so I struggled with what to end there and what to save. I was also definitely losing steam and rushing through it to get to the end, because I was starting to psyche myself out about the whole project. (I’m a natural perfectionist, though you probably can’t tell because my strategy for dealing with it is to say fuck it and rush in headlong. I can’t overthink if I don’t have time to think, but liquid courage was still required before hitting the post button for every chapter after the first lmao)
