I love my hero academia but I HATE how sexist it is.

1) I was re watching one of the movies and realized how the girls are always put on rescue missions instead of actually fighting. While rescuing is important why is it only the girls? I understand if some heroes only want to do rescues, but why is it like every single girl? Why can’t it also be some boys.

2) Why is Hakagure running around NAKED on the battle field. Mirio’s clothes came off because of his quirk so they used a strand of his hair to make a hero suit compatible with his quirk, why not do that for her? How much they sexualize TEENAGERS is insane. Yaomomo is SIXTEEN years old and this grown ass author is drawing her with her tatas out..

3) So many of the girls have so much potential, it is just wasted. They definitely deserved more attention and development. Most characters do have quirk awakenings and stuff, yet they are so underrated. All the men get flashy quirks and upgrades, so why don’t the woman? Also, in that one episode where the boys are doing swim races, why are the girls just cheering them on? They are heroes too, they should be participating. And in the top thirteen heroes there is only TWO girls, it just gives me the ick.

4) At the sports festival, Uraraka should’ve gotten more screen time. I was PISSED that Bakugo won. As much as I love him, she totally could’ve flamed his ass. But alas, why would they let a girl win.
