Supernatural: Sam/Reader
Hi there! I hope you're having a wonderful day :) please can you write a Sam Winchester x reader where the reader is that stressed maybe about worrying about the boys coming back to the bunker, that she makes herself physically sick? Like headache, anxiety attack, you can even miss your time of the month if you're that stressed! Tha k you do much ❤️
 (Hope you like it)
The grilled cheese was still sitting on the plate as it did hours ago when I had made it. The TV show that I had playing on my laptop was now a season and a half ahead from the episode I started from. The voices of the characters now acted as noise buzzing in the background. Next to my laptop was my phone that had remained silenced and I was itching to pick it up even though it would be pointless.
It wasn’t uncommon for there to be this much radio silence during hunts. But knowing that the silence may never end made things unbearable. I kept telling myself that Sam and Dean not calling was normally, especially since Dean would drive. And then there would be times they wouldn’t hear from me if I was on a hunt.
Both brothers were on a hunt leaving me in the bunker solo. The stakes were high on this hunt like usual, and there were a lot of deaths. Many of the deaths involved were unexplainable. Because of the different variables as to what could be responsible, I stayed behind to research in the archives from the Men of Letters.
Groaning, I pressed my fingers to my temple. There was a headache that had been growing probably after the boys had left. I picked up my phone and pressed on Sam’s name. As I held the phone to my ear, I kept a hand pressed to my head hoping to dull the pain. Thankfully, the phone was picked up after a few rings.
“Hey,” Sam said, his voice strained slightly.
“Hey,” I sighed. “Are-are you guys okay?”
“Yeah, we should’ve been home sooner, but we got caught up in another hunt.”
“Wait, really?” I sat up straight, and my heartbeat began picking up.
“Yeah, it seems like a ghost. Or more than one ghost-”
“Sam!” Dean yelled in the background. Sam said bye and the call ended.
I put my phone down and sank into my chair. My chest tightened, and I forced myself to take deep breaths. I squeezed the armrest of the chair before getting to my feet and clearing the table. As I walked past the kitchen table, a post-it note caught my eye. Sitting on the the table was a bottle of painkillers with a note stuck to it.
Take one and eat food - S
I smiled and took one before making myself something new to eat. Eventually I sat back down at the table with a new grilled cheese and pulled my computer towards me and tried to do anything that would distract me from knowing it’ll be longer for Sam and Dean to be back. I took a bite and chewed slowly, my stomach churning. Instead of swallowing, I spat the food into a napkin and pushed the plate away.
“You know you have to actually eat something, right?” Sam asked. The two of us were sitting at a table as we were making phone calls. I looked up at him from my computer.
“I will.” I told him.
“(Y/N),” Sam put a sandwich on a plate and pushed it towards me and took my computer. Before I could make a protest, he gave me a look and I picked up my sandwich before taking a few bites.
“You never eat on hunts.”
“They stress me out.” I told him between bites. “That, or I end up vomiting.”
The two of us had been on a hunt and were waiting for Dean who had gone to talk to some of the locals in the area. Thankfully we were together, but not matter what, the anxiety got the best of me.
At some point I fell asleep and found myself waking to the sound of the bunker door opening. There was silence and I got to my feet. Rushing to the entrance, I looked up at the stairs to see Sam and Dean. I sighed in relief at the sight of them both.
“Hey,” Dean said patting my shoulder as he passed me.
“Hey,” I patted his back and watched as he went towards the kitchen for food.
“Hey,” I turned to face Sam. There was a cut on his cheek but he smiled at me before enveloping me in a hug. I pressed my face against his shoulder and held on to him tight.
“Oh thank god you’re home.” I mumbled.
“You okay?” He asked pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
“You’re home, I’m fine.” I sighed. “What happened to you?” I asked gently running my finger along the cut. There was a bandage covering the wound but it was red and angry at the edges.
“Believe it or not, I did this myself.” He chuckled. “You haven’t eaten, have you?”
“No, I haven’t. I can’t eat, everything makes me want to vomit.”
“Come on,” Sam put an arm around my shoulders and led me to the kitchen. Inside, Dean had a sandwich and was eating at the table.
I yawned and let my head rest against Sam’s shoulder as the two of us sat on the bed in his room. My eyes were growing heavier and Sam kissed my head.
“How’s your head?”
“It’s killing,” I admitted. “Next time, I’m coming on the hunt with you guys.” I lifted my head and looked at Sam.
“You sure?”
“Trust me, it’ll be better for everyone.”

Chicago PD: Jay/Reader
I was always told to never drive angry. I was told to take a deep breath, and then drive. And maybe if I did, I wouldn’t have had to skid and swerve and hit the curb with enough force to know that my car would need to go to a shop. The moon had taken its place in the night sky, and thankfully I had stopped on a street that was lit with enough lamps to feel slightly comfortable waiting for a tow. Slightly.
Taking a needed breath to calm myself, I went through my contacts. It was a night off, one that didn’t come around too often. And one that needed to be taken advantage of. That also meant that there was a chance that Kim wouldn’t answer her phone. After a few rings, it went to voicemail. Knowing that Adam and Kevin’s would do the same, I still attempted to call only to end up with the voicemail messages.
Finally, I called Jay.
The phone was answered after one ring.
“Aren’t you meant to be on a date?” He asked chuckling. Behind his voice, there were people singing karaoke.
“Supposed to be.” I sighed. “Look, I know it’s our night off, but I need help.”
“Are you okay?” There was an edge to his voice that told me the humour he answered with was gone.
“I’m fine. I hit a curb, and something’s wrong with my car. I called a tow and I don’t want to wait alone.” I took another deep breath.
“Okay,” Jay said after a beat. “Send me your location, I need to pay my tab. Do you want me to stay on the line?”
“Sending it now, and no, I’ll see you when you get here.”
Thankfully I hadn’t stopped too far from Jay’s location, probably Molly’s, as his car pulled in behind mine ten minutes after we hung up. I opened the car door and stepped out.
“What happened?” Jay asked as he met me at my car.
“To the car or the date?”
“Both!” Jay knelt down and began looking at my car to see what kind of damage I had done. As he did, I noticed him looking up from the car at my outfit from the date.
“Well, I think I damaged the axel. Something ran out, I think it was a cat or something and I swerved and hit the curb.” I kicked the tire lightly as I explained. “As for the date, we sat down, and then he got a phone call. Turns out that another girl he was interested in was free and he left.”
“Wait, he stood you up after you guys got to the restaurant?”
“Exactly! Thankfully we didn’t order anything, because I’m sure I would’ve had to pay his bill too.” I pinched my nose. “I basically got angry and left after him and I wasn’t thinking straight.”
“Makes sense. The guy’s an idiot by the way.” Jay offered with a smile. I smiled back and shivered as a gust of wind blew towards us. “Do you want to sit in the truck?”
“Yeah,” I nodded and followed after Jay towards his truck. He opened the passenger side door and gestured for me to get in. Once he got in, he started the car and the heating came on warming us.
“Thank you.” I said after sitting in silence for a few minutes. “I appreciate this.”
“Of course. I saw you calling Kim and Kevin and figured I’d be next.” Jay shrugged his shoulders and I looked at him. “They were singing at Molly’s when you tried to call.”
“Oh.” I nodded. “I thought that was a dying whale and you were watching a nature documentary.” I joked causing Jay to laugh. “But seriously, thanks.”
“You’d do the same if it were me.”
Before I could reply, the tow truck arrived. I began opening the door and as I did, Jay raised a hand to stop me as he got out and made his way to the tow truck driver. I watched as he spoke with the driver as the car was hooked up and he took the information as to where the car was going to be taken.
“I know a guy, and he’ll probably be able to get the car running back to normal by tomorrow night.” Jay told me getting back in. He handed me a business card of the garage he sent the car to. “I’ll take you there tomorrow.”
“Oh, thanks.” I took the card and put it into my bag. “I can just call a cab and I’ll let you get back to Molly’s.”
“Are you kidding?” Jay looked at the clock. “It’s like seven, if you want, we can get something to eat. You said it yourself that you didn’t eat. Besides, you’re already dressed for a date.”
“Is this your way of saying you want to take me on a date?” I teased. Jay rolled his eyes.
“How about we just get something to eat?” Jay asked before starting the car.

Top Gun: Hangman/Reader
An oldie but goodie played as chatter began inside the Hard Deck. Every now and then eyes from the Top Gun pilots would land on me and Jake as we sat outside the bar. The two of us ignored them as we sat in silence. I grimaced as I gently wiped blood away from Jake’s lip.
“Are you okay?” He asked from his seat on the bench.
“You are literally bleeding, and you’re asking me if I’m okay?” I asked incredously.
“You did take a hit remember? Or do we need to tell Penny and take you to a doctor?” Jake raised his eyebrow and winced at the cut he pulled. I dipped a clean edge of the towel into the water from inside and gently pressed it to the wound.
“I’m… fine.”
The night had began like any other. Regulars and a few newcomers had made their way into Penny’s bar. As well as them, there were members of the Top Gun school that came in and circled the pool table. They greeted me and Penny with smiles as we brought them their drinks. All except Hangman who decided to flirt and earn an eyeroll from everyone. My face grew red with blush as I avoided letting him see.
Making another round of tidying tables, Penny waved me over to take the glasses that needed cleaning.
“Do you want to take all their drinks?” Penny asked nodding to the table Jake was leaning against as Rooster took another shot.
“Why does that sound like a punishment?” I asked. Penny rolled her eyes and turned around to take care of her other patrons.
Smiling, I went back to cleaning the few empty tables. Other patrons that recognised me from regular visits. Many stepped out of the way to let me pass with ease. Occaisonally, my attention was drawn from the empty glasses and tables to the Top Gun pilots. Especially Hangman. Every time that he caught my eye, he’d smile and my heart would beat a little faster as I tried not to spill the trays I carried.
“Hey,” I smiled as I brought another round of drinks to the pool table.
“Hey (Y/N),” Phoenix bumped into my side after I set down the drinks and she brandished her pool stick. “You want to play a round? We’re betting Bagman’s money.”
“Ooh, tempting. Anything else?”
“Well, otherwise, you two can play for a date with Hangman.” Coyote said patting his friend on the shoulder.
“Yeah, that sounds like a bet I’d want to lose.” I said before Phoenix could get the chance. She laughed getting an eyeroll from Jake. “Besides, I need to help Penny. Maybe next time.”
“Oh, that sounds like you’re interested.” Jake grinned.
“In your dreams.” I sang before turning around.
Time continued to pass as the night went on. The only difference about this night was one of the newcomers to the bar. As I stepped around a table, my path was blocked.
“’Scuse me,” I stepped to the side hoping to get around only for the man to sidestep in front of me, blocking the path.
“How about a dance?” He asked with a smile, the smell of beer rolling off his breath.
“I’m good.” I told him. “Now, please excuse me.” I made an attempt to step around him only to be stopped.
“I don’t really like taking no for an answer. How about you tell me your name? I’m Fred.”
“Nice to meet you Fred, but I’m not asking.” I stepped backwards to walk around the table. Instead of listening, Fred continued to follow me to the bar. Before I could go behind the bar, Fred grabbed my wrist. I whirled around and faced him. The look on his face changed from desire to anger.
“When I say I want a dance, I want a dance.” This time his voice was louder and caught the attention of the other patrons.
Thankfully, Hangman was watching and began making his way over to us.
“I’m saying no, and if you don’t let go, you’ll be going overboard.” I did my attempt to keep my voice steady despite the fact that the grip tightening on my wrist had me feeling more and more concerned.
I pulled my wrist away and as I did, I felt his hand connect with my face. I stumbled and fell against the bar. My heartbeat was in my ears and I felt hands grab my arms to steady me.
Phoenix and Bob helped me to my feet as Hangman stood in front of me, almost like a shield.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” He asked looking over his shoulder at me.
“Ye-yeah, I’m okay.” I stammered. Jake’s eyes met mine and I nodded to let him know I was okay. He nodded back.
“Penny, I think it’s time to ring the bell.”
Without hesitation, Penny rang the bell coughing cheers to erupt in the bar. I watched as a few pilots escorted Fred outside. Once outdoors, there were yells of anger. And then punches were thrown.
Jake grimaced as I continued to wipe away the blood that was drying on his forward.
“I’m sorry,” I told him. “But also, thank you.”
“You don’t need to thank me.” Jake took my hand in his and pulled it away from his face.
“Yes, Jake, I do. You took a few punches for me.”
“I’m fine. The only thing I need to worry about is making sure you’re okay. And probably whatever Maverick is going to say when he hears about this.”
“I think Penny can explain what happened. You should let me finish cleaning you up, and we should get some ice.”
Jake smiled and leaned forwards towards me. “If you really want to help me feel better, how about a kiss?”
“At least you’re feeling better. Good to know Fred didn’t mess with your brain.”
“I’m just saying.” He laughed.
“How about a date?” I suggested.
“Wait, really?” Jake looked surprised causing me to laugh.
“Yes Jake, I mean, you got into a fight for me. Now, I’m going to go back inside.” I stood up from my seat and gathered the stuff I was using to clean his wounds. As I did, I noticed Jake was watching me.
“What now Jake?”
“You’re not using my callsign.”
“It’s your name. Anyway, how about you take me to dinner tomorrow night?”
“Aren’t I meant to ask you?” Jake asked.
“You haven’t asked me, Jake.” I leaned down to kiss him on the cheek. Instead, he turned his head so his lips met mine. Surprised but pleased, I smiled and cupped his cheek as I kissed him back.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Jake.” I whispered as I pulled away.
“Told you a kiss would make me feel better.”

Top Gun: Hangman/Reader
I followed behind Penny and shielded my eyes from the sun as it beat down on us at the beach outside the bar. Penny watched as I dropped my bag on the lounge chair and began an attempt to drag it away. My feet dug into the sand as I moved it an inch away from where it was.
“What’re you doing?” She asked as she sat in her chair.
“Giving you some space.” I replied. “Why are these chairs so heavy? What’re they made of? Lead?” I dropped it with a huff.
“It’s so they don’t blow away in storm season. You don’t need to give me space by the way.”
“You’re sitting outside, because Peter is playing football with the others.” I pointed out. She smiled and held up her hands showing that she conceded.
“Okay, and you’re here because…?”
“Because Peter has the team playing football.” I smiled.
There was chatter as the pilots descended on the beach. Many of them waved to Penny and I as they pulled their shirts off and donned their sunglasses. Penny sat back in her chair as Maverick veered in our direction. I nodded my greetings to him and went back to trying to drag my chair.
“Hey, (Y/N),” I turned my head to see Jake jogging towards me. “Let me help you with that,”
“Oh, no, it’s fine.”
“I insist,” He grinned and I lowered the chair allowing him to pick it up easier than I had managed. I watched as his muscles flexed with ease as he moved the chair along the beach to where I wanted it.
“Any particular reason why we had to move the chair?” He asked once he put it down.
“Maverick and Penny should get some space, and it’s too nice to stay in the bar.” I shrugged my shoulders. “Thank you, by the way.”
“Any time. And I suppose pilots being out here is incentive?” Jake took a step closer to me and I rolled my eyes.
“You wish.” I teased. Behind the lens of his sunglasses, I could see Jake’s eyes watching me. He smiled and opened his mouth to say something before the other pilots began calling him so they can begin their game.
“Well, I should go. Rooster was being cocky this morning.”
“Ah, and you need to go put him in his place, right?”
“Exactly.” Before leaving, Jake pulled his shirt off and I did my best not to stare. “You mind if I leave this with you?”
“Go for it,” I held out my hands and took the shirt.
“Save me a drink later.”
My face grew warm from what I would lie and say the sun. I draped Jake’s shirt on the back of my chair before sitting and pulling my book from my bag. Every now and then, I looked up at the pilots as they cheered when they scored a point for their side. If I caught Jake’s eye, he would wave and I’d wave back causing some of the other pilots to clap him on the back.
After a while, I left my chair to go inside, grateful that it was cooler. Some of the pilots followed after for water in the heat and some shade, taking glasses of water and taking a seat in the bar for a breather. Some left after having water, ready to either start playing.
“Hey,” I smiled at Jake as he came in. He moved his glasses above his head and sat on the opposite side of the bar from me. “This is for you,”
“Thanks,” He took the glass and took a sip.
“How’s the score?”
“Honestly, we got to five, and then we stopped counting.” He chuckled before finishing his glass. I smiled and poured myself some water and took a sip. “What’re you doing tonight?”
“Working the bar, but only until 7.” I smiled. “Why? Is there something that you want to ask me?”
The others began calling Jake back to the game.
“Go, I’m going to be staying in here, it’s getting too bright out there.” I told him.
“Well, in that case,” He plucked the glasses from his head and held them out. “Use these.”
“Okay Hangman,” I smiled and took the glasses before putting them on. “How do they look?”
“They look good.” He looked over his shoulder to see if the bar was empty. When he realized that it was, he leaned over the counter and cupped my face before kissing me. “Do you know long I’ve been wanting to do that today?”
“Really?” I asked breathless. “Too bad I had to watch you play. Go score some points and I’ll see you tonight for dinner.” I told him before giving him another kiss.

Spider-Man: Peter/Reader
Hope you like it!
Author: Queen of Geeks
The sun had begun to set thus bringing out the city’s night life. As it did, I raised my arms above my head in a stretch. My eyes began watering from going back and forth between screens and books. College finals were coming closer with each passing day which meant that studying increased tenfold. The libraries were filling with students that were writing last minute papers or finalising their study groups to under the material. That left me and Peter to study in his apartment.
“Pete, I think I might just pitch myself into the Hudson.” I groaned rubbing my eyes.
Instead of response on how I should die more efficiently, there was a light snore. I looked at Peter who was lying on his stomach on the floor of his apartment. His arms were folded and he rested his head on top, his notebook open and pencil still in hand.
“Peter?” I asked joining him on the floor.
Gently, I put my hand on his back. I could feel his muscles under his t-shirt as he breathed in and out. My face grew warm as I remembered the day that I found out he was the webslinging vigilante. He had asked me to meet him in his apartment to study and instead I openedthe door to him with a bruised face and a bloody lip.
And in his Spider-Man suit. On the fifth floor.
“Hey,” He stopped and realised that he was still in his suit and quickly began to pull it off as he let me in.
“Hey?” I stepping into his apartment and stared at him as Peter ran into his bedroom to grab clothing. “You’re Spider-Man?”
“You were not supposed to find out!” He yelled from the other room.
“I figured! You’re injured, please let me you have a first aid kit somewhere in here.” I threw my bag on to his sofa and rushed to his bathroom where I had found bandages and rubbing alcohol.
Instead of studying, Peter let me clean the wounds that he had accumulated when he tried to stop an armed robbery. It went well until one of them shot him and he fell off the roof. Despite the growing worry I had, a part of me couldn’t help but stare at the way his muscles moved as he adjusted the way he sat.
“Peter?” I asked shaking him.
“Huh?” Peter opened his eyes and blinked slowly before he raised his head. “Oh, hey.” He gave me a sleepy smile.
“Hey, you fell asleep.” I pointed out. “Maybe we should call it a night, we have our first test tomorrow.”
“Yeah, yeah, okay.” He yawned and sat up. I watched as Peter looked around the room realising that the sun was setting and it was growing darker and darker.
“You okay?”
“Yeah, just tired. I don’t know what’s worse, villains in New York or thermodynamics.” Peter gave me a smile and I rolled my eyes.
“Thermodynamics. I want to jump into the Hudson to avoid it.”
“If you come back with some freaky powers, I’m going to have to fight you, you know that right?” He raised his eyebrows at me.
“Who said that I’d turn evil? We could be partners! Or I could kick your ass.”
“You really think you could kick my ass?” Peter leaned forwards and there was a teasing smile on his face. I opened my mouth to think of a response only to stop short when he licked his lips. “That’s what I thought.”
I laughed. “I need to get home, because if I can’t kick your ass in fighting, I want to be able to kick your ass with the final.”
I got to my feet and Peter quickly followed. I collected my things and shoved them into my backpack before pulling on my jacket.
“I’ll walk you home.” Peter said grabbing his own jacket. I shook my head.
“You don’t have to, you know I live two buildings down the street. You need some rest.”
“A lot of things can go wrong between here and there.”
“I’m going less than a street away. I’ll be fine.” I assured him.
“I still think that you shouldn’t go alone.”
I stopped and looked at Peter. “Let me guess, either Peter Parker walks me home, or I’ll get an escort from Spider-Man?” I crossed my arms over my chest. “If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve assumed that you want to spend more time with me.”
Peter’s mouth dropped open as he tried to think of something to say that wouldn’t prove my point.
“I just want to make sure that you get home safe so that you can take your final tomorrow.”
“Okay,” I held out my hand to Peter who stared at it before taking it.
The two of us were met with a cool breeze as we stepped outside of the building. The beginning of the month had yet to bring warm weather that everyone expected for Spring finals.
“How are you feeling about the test?” I asked Peter as we began walking. I let my arm swing, his hand still in mine.
“Not too bad, my grade isn’t too bad, but this final could make or break it.”
“Peter, you are one of the smartest guys I know. If you fail this, there isn’t hope for anyone.”
“What about you? What if you fail it?” Peter raised an eyebrow.
“Oh, I’ll be okay. I’ll do great.” I shrugged my shoulders.
The two of us stopped when we had reached the steps outside of my apartment. The sun was still on the bring of setting below the horizon, and the moon was becoming more visible in the sky.
Despite the fact that we had reached our destination, I didn’t want to let go of Peter’s hand. And with the way that he gently squeezed mine, he didn’t want to let go either.
“You know, I’m getting kind of hungry.” I looked at Peter who smiled.
“Same. Maybe we could get something to eat before we go our separate ways?”
“See, I knew you just wanted to spend more time with me.”

DC: Jason Todd/Reader
Based on the Wayne Family Adventure comic “Online” where Barbara found Jason’s online dating profile.
Author: Queen of Geeks
Hope you like it!
I stopped in the doorway of Barbara’s apartment when I heard her laugh. I let the door close behind me as I ventured inside with the takeout that she wanted. With Barbara’s laughing, it sometimes caused worry: was she laughing at a funny animal video, or was she laughing at a video of someone from the team doing something embarrassing.
“Hey Babs?” I called letting her know that I had arrived.
“Hey!” She replied. I set down our dinner on the table and made my way to the backroom where the screens were set up.
I stopped when I saw the familiar logo on the screen Barbara was looking at. And apparently, I swore loud enough for Barbara to tear her attention away from the screen. Behind her, I saw Jason on the screen.
“Wait what?” I moved closer to the desk and looked at the screen.
There were photos of Jason, some I hadn’t seen before, other I had. One was of him and Roy sitting on a ledge, and another of him working on his bike.
“Everything okay?” Barbara asked looking between me and the screen.
“Yeah, I thought it was something else.” I told her with a laugh.
“You mean this?” Barbara reached past me and clicked on another page pulling up my profile on Full Hearts.
My face grew warm as I looked at the attempt of a dating profile I made as a last ditch effort. Barbara smiled at me as I fumbled for an excuse.
“Yeah, so, you found my profile. Of course, you did.” I pinched the bridge of my nose. “When did you find it?”
“Yesterday. I found Jason’s the day before.” Barb explained as she went into the kitchen for dinner. I followed after her and helped myself to dinner and sat at the table opposite Barbara. “Do you want to tell me about it?”
“Not much to tell, I honestly want to meet someone, but in all fairness, the Gotham dating pool isn’t that great.” I sighed pushing my food around with my fork. “You can’t tell anyone.”
“You do realise that these are also location based, right?”
“Yeah, but so far I haven’t found Jason, so I’m assuming that he hasn’t found my profile.”
“If you want,” Barbara began before nodding to her computer room.
“Nope. Do not match me with Jason. If he finds out I’m on Full Hearts, he will be unbearable. More so than normal.”
“Okay, well if you change your mind, let me know.”
I checked my phone as I sipped my coffee and made my way to Wayne Manor. There were texts from Barbara from the last night after our conversation from dinner. The two of us talked after we had eaten and hung out before retiring for the night. I stood outside the manor door as my phone gave me a new notification.
A match on Full Hearts.
I opened up the app while taking a sip and gasped, choking on my coffee. As I coughed in attempt to clear my throat, the door opened. I coughed again and looked to see Alfred standing in the doorway.
“Good morning Alfred,” I coughed.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
“Yeah, have you seen Jason?”
“Alfred, if anyone needs me I’m going to find- (Y/N)!” Jason pushed past Alfred and stopped when he saw me.
“Hi, perfect timing.” I held up my phone.
“Yeah, perfect timing.”
Alfred left the two of us and I followed Jason back into the house. The two of us stood in silence for a moment thinking of something to say to one another.
“So, we matched on Full Hearts.” I broke the silence.
“I didn’t even realise you were on there until we matched.” Jason said.
“You matched us, right?”
“I thought you did.” Jason raised his eyebrows at me and then realisation dawned on us.
“Barbara.”
“When did she find your profile?” Jason asked.
“Two days ago. She told me that she found yours first. Look, we can unmatch and never speak about this again if you want.” I told him. Jason tilted his head and there was a confused look on his face.
“Oh, I didn’t want to unmatch.” He told me quietly. “I’m glad that Barbara did it for us.”

Stranger Things: Steve/Reader
My bike hit the ground of the parking lot with a clatter as I quickly stopped and ran to the entrance of Family Video. The bell swung above the door as I pushed the door open. Behind the counter was Robin who had stopped fixing the display she was working on when she saw me pull up.
“Where’s Steve? It’s an emergency.” I told her.
“Steve! (Y/N) has an emergency!” She yelled.
From behind a shelf, Steve’s head popped up. There was a pen in his mouth and he looked confused.
“You have an emergency, and you need Steve?” Robin asked turning back to me.
“Thanks Rob,” Steve rolled his eyes as he joined us at the counter. “What’s the emergency?”
I opened my mouth to explain but then closed it quickly as I considered my choice of words.
After the Starcourt fire, Steve and Robin landed jobs at Family Video. While I had worked at the mall’s bookstore, I went in the direction of the library. In the bookstore, there were rooms where I could hide from customers or other members of staff I could direct customers to. Specifically Todd. He had graduated the same year as Steve, and he also thought that showing off his flashy car in the parking lot would be enough to make me swoon over him. Now that I’m at the library, there are less places to hide and less staff.
“I need you to pretend to date me. Just for a few nights.” I told Steve finally.
“What? No!” He told me quickly crossing his arms.
“Steve! You owe me!”
“How?”
“How? I helped you study when you in high school, and on top of that, I covered a shift for you.”
“(Y/N) didn’t even work at Scoops.” Robin added.
“Thank you!”
Steve looked between the two of us as if trying to decide what he should do. Finally, he turned to face me.
“First off, why do you need a fake boyfriend? And why me?” Steve asked leaning against the counter. My face began growing warm as I thought about the answer.
“Well, I might have told someone that you were my boyfriend in a state of panic. But only because the other guy won’t leave me alone.” I admitted.
“To who?” Steve’s eyes had grown wide and he had stiffened. It was his stance that he took whenever he was thinking defensively. It was something I had seen more of, especially whenever I mentioned the problem I faced with other people.
“Remember Todd Bryant?”
Steve groaned and put his head in his hands. Robin raised her eyebrows in question to me. Todd and Steve were both competing for the captain position for the swim team while they were in high school. Because of their skill, the two of them ended up becoming co-captains which is what neither wanted.
“You should not go out with him.” Steve told me.
“Yeah, that’s why I kept hiding at Scoops Ahoy.” I retorted. It dawned on Steve that perhaps the reason I joined him and Robin at their store was not because I would convince them to give me free ice cream. While those were reasons, there was the additional reason that I found comfort in spending time with Steve.
“Okay, fine.” Steve said. I realised I had been staring at Steve and snapped out of my daze. “I’ll do it, but no more favours.”
~The Next Day~
I picked up my bag and made my way to the exit of the library. It had been a surprisingly quiet day and there weren’t too many patrons that needed assistance. It was also peaceful with the lack of Todd’s presence. I also couldn’t help but feeling giddy. After Steve had agreed that he would be my fake-boyfriend, he and I decided that we would meet up after we were finished working for the day.
My giddiness came to an end as I stepped outside the library and saw Todd and his car. I stopped at the top of the library steps and felt my heart plummet. Unfortunately, he was also right by my bike.
“Excuse me Bryant,” I said as I made my way past the steps he was trying to block me on.
“Hey (Y/N), I wanted to see if you wanted to go to a movie with me this weekend.” He reached for my arm and I pulled it away before he could.
“(Y/N)!”
The two of us turned to see Steve who had pulled up to the library. The tightness I was feeling in my chest loosened at the sight of him standing at the bottom of the steps with his hand outstretched.
“Hey!” I took his hand I got closer to him. “I didn’t realise you were picking me up,” I said quietly to avoid Todd hearing.
“Figured I’d surprise you,” Steve smiled as he said it loudly enough for Todd to hear. I could feel Todd’s eyes staring straight at us. “You trust me, right?”
“Yeah, why?” I asked.
Steve looked over at Todd before cupping my face and bringing his lips to mine. I hid my surprise as I held onto Steve’s jacket. Pulling away, I bit my lip as Steve’s face grew a tint pink.
“Hey Bryant, stop looking at my girlfriend, we’ve got a date tonight.” He yelled before putting an arm around my shoulders and pulling me to his side.
“Damn Harrington, I didn’t think you had it in you to ask (Y/N) out. You definitely didn’t have the balls to do it back in high school.” Todd called as Steve led me to his car. He opened the passenger door and I slid in. I watched as Steve grabbed my bike and put it into the back of his car.
“Steve,” I got Steve’s attention as he got into his car. “What did Todd mean, about back in school?” I smiled.
“Uh,” Steve swallowed as he looked at me, his face growing pinker. With a smile, I leaned forwards and kissed him once more.
“I have been wanting to do that for so long.” I told him. “We should’ve been fake dating ages ago.”
“Then how about I take you on an actual date?” Steve asked trying to regain his cool.
“You got a deal,” I kissed him once more before he began leaving the library.

Spider-Man: Peter/Reader
Tumblr media
Words: 1.2K
I hope you like it! (Also, we are accepting Spider-Man requests!)
An undignified squeak left my mouth as arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me to the side. As they did, a basketball flew past my head, just missing me. The arms around my waist tightened as Peter kissed my cheek. Somewhere down the hall, someone yelled an apology.
“How did you know…?” I trailed off and turned to look at Peter. He raised an eyebrow at me.
“Just did,” He shrugged his shoulders. “I need to get my stuff from my locker.”
I followed him as he went to his locker and opened it. As he did, I leaned against the locker next to his.
“Have you looked at the history homework yet?” I asked as everyone else began making their way out of the building as school ended. Peter closed his door to look at me with raised eyebrows only having been assigned it.
“What? I had history before you, and I managed to finish everything but the last two questions. If you help me with the final questions, I’ll give you the answers to the rest.” I sang.
Peter gasped and put a hand to his chest, feigning shock.
“(Y/N), are you suggesting that we cheat?” He asked before smiling.
“Isn’t that why we’re dating? I’m smart, you’re smart. I’m pretty, you’re pretty.” I counted the reason on my fingers and held out my hand.
“Well, when you put it like that,” Peter linked his fingers with mine. Even with holding hands, my heart fluttered.
Peter and I had been dating for a few months. Before dating, we had been friends since we were learning how to walk. Our dating however was … unusual. Especially as sometimes Peter would disappear and then show up with a bruise on his face. There was no way for him to hide it aside from saying it was a skateboard accident or clumsiness.
“Do you want to come over to do it?” Peter asked as we walked towards the subway. The two of us lived a ride away from school but took different trains to get home. “You can stay for dinner. However, if May starts making meatloaf,”
“Family emergency.” I answered with a laugh. “I’ll even make it seem like you have to take me home and we can get fries and shakes.”
“You know me so well,” Peter dropped my hand to wrap his arms around my waist.
Before I could wrap my arms around his neck, I heard sirens from both a fire truck and police cars. All drove past peter and I.
“I have to go,” Peter told me pressing a chaste kiss to my lips.
“What?”
Peter dropped his arms from my waist and turned to the alley we had walked past. Confused, I followed behind as he ran into it. He pulled off his shirt and I froze at what was underneath it. Instead of seeing his bare chest, I saw a suit of red and blue with a spider emblem on his chest. My jaw dropped as I stared at him.
“You’re- oh my god!” I watched as he began climbing the wall using nothing but his hands and feet.
“(Y/N! Go home! I’ll find you later!”
I watched as he climbed to the top of the building and threw a web. It caught on a pole allowing him to swing away.
Eventually, I found myself in my apartment sitting at my desk. My mind kept wandering away from the past wars I was reading about from my book to what I had witnessed today. On the news there was an apartment that had caught fire, the cause was unknown but most likely due to some fault wiring. Spider-Man, New York’s hero had managed to save the citizens that weren’t able to get out.
There was a knock at my window causing me to jump. Outside, the sky had grown dark and there was nothing visible from my desk. I stood and walked over to the window where a face appeared causing me to scream. I tripped over my feet and landed on the floor, my back against it.
The figure opened the window and I realised it was Spider-Man. Or rather, Peter. There was a knock on my bedroom door and we both looked at it.
“(Y/N)? Are you okay?” My mother asked from the other side of the door.
‘Yeah! A bird hit the window, it scared me.” I shot a look at Peter and the footsteps at my door receded.
“I am so sorry,” Peter pulled off his mask and held out his hands. I took them and let him pull me to my feet with ease. We stood in silence, waiting for the other to start speaking.
“So,” Peter ran a hand through his hair causing it to stand on all ends as if it wasn’t messy from his mask. “I’m assuming you have questions.”
“Yeah,” I nodded and walked past Peter to my desk. I moved my papers until I found the one I was looking for. I turned and held it up making Peter laugh.
“You wrote your questions?”
“You left me in an alley.” I sat on my bed, crossing my legs so there was space for Peter. I sighed and looked at Peter.
“Okay, what questions do you have?”
“How did you become Spider-Man?” I asked.
“I was at Oscorp, and a spider bit me. I woke up with these powers, but I have to make my own web-shooters.”
I nodded and put the paper down. “When did this happen?”
Peter looked past me at my desk where I had taped a photo of the two of us. The two of us were sitting at May’s table in her dining room and had bowls of ice cream in front of us. We were laughing at ice cream on Peter’s face. It was also the day that the two of us became a couple.
“Before.” Peter said returning his gaze to me. “I wanted to tell you for long. I should’ve told you earlier. I’m so sorry.”
“Hey,” I leaned forwards so I was on my knees in front of Peter. I cupped his face. “I get it, it’s a huge secret!”
Peter put his arms around my waist.
“You’re not mad?” He asked, his eyes big as he watched my face.
“No! I’m not mad! I do have questions still.” I sat back, and Peter kept his arms around my waist keeping me close to him. I grabbed my list and looked at the questions.
“Okay, so is this why you stopped wearing your glasses? I know you wore contacts, but I noticed that you stopped wearing them because your eyes are getting less irrita- what? I can ask you these later if you want.”
“No, it’s fine.” Peter leaned forwards and kissed me softly. I smiled against his lips and wrapped my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.  Peter pulled away and his nose brushed against mine. “And yes, that is why I stopped wearing glasses. What’s next?” Peter unwrapped his arms and plucked the paper from my hands. He leaned back trying to keep the papers from my reach, a laugh on his lips.

Stranger Things: Eddie/Reader
Word Count: 1.1K
I hope you like it!
The air was filled with rain and the sounds of mine and Eddie’s laughter. Both of us had decided that we would walk into town to rent a movie. On our way back, the sky that was filled with sunshine and birds was quickly flooded with rainclouds that opened up with no mercy. Rain poured down from above us leaving the two of us no choice but to run in with hopes of avoiding it.
By the time we reached the trailer, it was too late. Hair was plastered to our aces, and a chill ran down my spine. Eddie held his keys up before they slipped out of his fingers. The two of looked at each other before reaching for the keys only to bump heads. Despite the fleeting pain, we burst into more laughter as h picked up the keys.
“Come on!” I gently Eddie towards the door. My foot slipped and I fell forwards. Before I could hit the ground, Eddie caught me and I fell into his chest. The two of us stopped and stared at each other. The was a look in his eyes that was different from the one of laughter.
“We should get inside,” Eddie told me as I regained my footing. My face grew warm as Eddie unwrapped his arm from around my waist to unlock the door. I quickly followed him inside and sighed. The trailer was considerably warmer and I moved my hair from my face.
“Oh, I’ve got some spare clothes you can borrow.” Eddie told me noticing that a chill ran down my spine. He gestured for me to follow, and I did towards his room.
As Eddie began looking around for suitable things for me to wear, I looked around the room. There were tapes laying around, but Eddie’s guitar was still mounted to the wall as usual. There were photos too; some of them were the familiar faces of the Hellfire Club, and one of Eddie’s uncle whose arm was around Eddie’s shoulders. Then there was one of me with my arms around Eddie’s neck, the two of us laughing at the Hellfire Club table.
“Here,” I snapped out of my daze of looking at the photos of Eddie. While his curly hair was damp, it was still drier than mine and he managed to push it out of his face. He raised his eyebrows noticing my gaze. He looked at the photos and grinned. He tapped on the one of us both.
“That is my favourite,” He told me.
“It’s my favourite too.” I took the clothes from his gratefully.
“I will say, I prefer having the real deal.”
“And you are a dork.” I nudged him with my elbow.  Eddie laughed and stepped back.
“They,” he nodded to the clothes. “Might be a little too big. I can step out while you change, or…” Eddie trailed off with a glint in his eyes. My heartbeat sped up a little but not for the suggestive reason that Eddie was implying.
“Uh, actually, if you don’t mind stepping out?” I asked. He noded but still smiled as he left the room.
Once the door was closed, I peeled off my wet clothes. There were marks on my body, several of them scars. Some were from incidents that were minor, others were from the past events that had come to Hawkins that nearly destroyed the town. Without looking at my body too much, I pulled on the shirt that Eddie had left me.
Eddie being much more lankier than I am meant that his shirt hung clow at my legs. He also gave me pants, or rather shorts. Thankful, I pulled them on. It was obvious that they were older shorts as they landed at my thigh.
Eddie knocked on the door, and I turned.
“You okay in here?” He asked.
“Yeah, I’m still cold as hell though.” I told him. Eddie opened the door quickly, and there was a grin on his face. “Don’t even say it,” I cut him off before he could make any suggestive comments. Eddie bit his lip as his eyes travelled up and down my body. My face grew warm and I crossed my arms over my chest.
“Eddie, you’re staring.” I pointed out wanting to hide. A smirk played on his lips.
“Oh, am I?”
“Yes, and stop.” I poked him in the stomach making him chuckle. “I really don’t want you to.”
“Well, it’s difficult when you look so good.” His arms circled around my waist and he pulled me close to him.
“I do not,” I insisted. Eddie raised an eyebrow at me. Any of the mischievousness that was in his face before was replaced with concern. He looked down and his eyes landed on some of the scars that were part of me.
“You know, I love you, scars and all.”
“It’s not that, but I hate the way I look.” I sighed and put my face in my hands. Eddie took my hands and pulled them away from my face.
“You are beautiful. And, the scars are a part of you. And they’re a part of me too.” Eddie put his head against mine and I smiled.
“Am I?” I asked.
“You are. And you should wear my clothes more often.” Eddie kissed the side of my mouth and I smiled.
“Oh really?” I let my hands travel up his chest to around his neck.
“Yes,” Eddie’s lips were hovering just above my lips. Before he could go in further for a kiss, I felt his hands slide down until he grabbed my thighs and lifted me. I laughed against his lips as Eddie turned and walked me over to the sofa before laying me down on it. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. Eddie’s hands slid under his shirt and pressed against the small of my back.
Then I heard popping. I pulled away as it grew louder.
“Is that popcorn?” I asked pulling away from his lips.
“Seriously?” Eddie raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah! I want popcorn! Is it for the movie?” I escaped from his hands and went to the microwave as the bag inside grew larger.
“I was thinking that we could do something else instead of the movie.” Eddie said catching my attention from the microwave.
“Oh really?” I smiled. Eddie sat up on the sofa. “Well, I want popcorn. Get the movie ready!”
Eddie sighed but got up from his seat at the sofa. Once the microwave had finished, I pulled out the popcorn and dropped the packet from the heat. Once it had cooled enough for me to open, I emptied the contents into a bowl and joined Eddie on the sofa. He put an arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him as the movie began.
