Anti - Communism - a query
What is the thing with some people in the US and their almost paranoid feelings against Communism?
I am reaching out to people from the US for their feed back. I possibly risk a lot of offensive comments I know. I am not a US citizen. I am from ... Europe! And I am interested in your views.
Are they terrified of the ideology that the workers should own the means of production and the consequential redistribution of wealth away from the super rich to the people that actually do the work?
Or are they terrified that the implementation of communist ideologies always seems to get corrupted, and result in an iron-fisted often inept central command, emergence of a corrupt oligarchy who are lining their pockets, loss of existing wealth by the workers, loss of liberty by anyone standing against the authorities, and brain washing.
If it is the latter people are terrified of, then the US - despite not being "communist" state - is today characterised by the latter statements.
My statements are deliberately simplistic and to some degree provocative.
What is it they are so anti communist about? What are they scared of?
