LITERALLY THANK YOU FOR THIS POST i saw the original review thread on bulbapedia and everyone was like “why is snivy getting upset over tepig’s backstory when she abandoned her trainer??” it just makes me sad that they don’t bother to read between the lines and just hkhdfkjsffsd

Snivy/Tsutarja appreciation post

I honestly can’t believe I had seen no one talk about Snivy before I started watching BW. She must be the most underappreciated Ash’s ‘mon (to me, a good battler doesn’t automatically make an interesting ‘mon) there is. There’s just so much fire in her that I can’t not love her. Here are some screen shots to demonstrate what I mean. (warning, very image heavy post)

In the episode in which Ash & co meet Tepig’s ex trainer who had abandoned him and tied him so he wouldn’t follow him, the gang decides to solve who’s right and who’s wrong in a double battle. Snivy, who has also been mistreated by her previous trainer, is immediately very eager to help her friend and give the mean trainer a lesson.
