Ok.

Today I will doodle some more, in between the whole painting I started yesterday, but I want to try and focus on some of my "less known" pairings (because I am a freaking neglectful brain mother to them FML, and I hate myself sometimes for it).

I need help choosing though, so I would love to hear your opinion :)

hello again everyone!

allow me to share another wip among the many things I drew in the past couple of weeks.

I jumped around a bit, theme wise, but I had fun working on Dorothea, as always.

And this time around, I was working on redrawing my old artwork for my paranormal Noir!AU from 2021.

And by the gods, this remain one of my most favourite AUs, along with the MonstersMash!AU and my Camelot/ASOIAF AU. The lore for it just tickle my brain.

I dare say that I am slowly improving, which is a comfort to know, and I am also insanely happy that my character design for Dottie is solid enough and resemble exactly how I see her in my mind.

I kinda have another wip of her and Shay in this AU, but I am still trying to figure out the colouring for that one.

I love my twins.

I *loved* working on them while away, because they just give me so much happiness. And it's so fun, because while I was working on their reference sheets (so that I can reference my own damn thing, if I happen to forget how to draw my own oc lol), I had to be conscious of make them resemble one another while also keeping in mind who they actually took after, in terms of physiognomy.

I came to the conclusion that Mathias favours his mother Ximena the most, in terms of gentleness in his face's traits and the softness in his eyes, while Antoine resembles her father the most, while also carrying the same hard gaze and heavy brows of her uncle Rodrigo (but without a doubt, the Reyes-Moreno traits are STRONG in both twins).

I honestly love to draw Antoine's expression: she just cannot be bothered at all.

And I actually love how they turned out here, because, with their dynamic, they are this meme right here

And mind you.

She will.

Anyway, I hope you will love these two just as much as I do.

hiyo everyone.

Just passing by and dropping this small quick wip that I did today after a particularly intense gameplay of Bloodborne (dear gods, Martinus the Popsicle is still beating my ass fml).

But, this gave me the possibility to spend more time in Castle Cainhurst and brainstorm some more what I needed to brainstorm in regards to Dorothea and the maternal side of her family.

Which brought me to finally doodle her mother, Annette, as she appeared when she was around 25 years old, the age she was when her own story is set up (and oh, the heartwrenching, deliciously angsty love story she had with a certain Hunter 👀👀👀).

Ngl, I had to think a bit about her appearance, because I wanted her to resemble Dottie and I wanted for her to be immediately recognizible as her mama, but still give her a distinct personality.

And I think I managed?

Like, for how I saw her, Annette and Dottie share the same type of beauty, but differently from her daughter, Annette is frostier in attitude: where Dottie comes off as composed, Annette comes off as haughty. Yet, she is also very much capable of loving so deeply, it makes the heart hurt.

Also, bear in mind that this particular design was created specifically for her Bloodborne counterpart, so her Syndicate one will probably be a bit different and more era appropriate.

Also, I realized that her hair turned a lot lighter than I envisioned, but I will fix it on the next artwork lolol

Anyway, I blabbered enough about this.

More fashionborne comics

I just think feathers in hats are super cute. The only ones in the game are Maria's and Henryk's (curiously his doesn't have it in the in-game image). Also I'm going with the "henryk is gascoigne's father-in-law" theory, even though there's nothing to prove nor disprove it, as it is with most souls theories. Maybe you could argue they revisited the idea of helping put down an NPC's grandpa for a quest in DS3. I was hoping to find an art style that would suit both the Gothic killing and violence game and a lighthearted comic and also be quick and easy to draw, but no such luck, it seems… Next is Maria and then maybe Valtr if a script hits me, I drew some thumbs for the former at least but I'm facing my great enemy of dialogue, boo. I also want to draw some ds3 stuff too cuz I been playing that the most.
