You’re probably thinking “This is a superhero movie, but that guy in the suit just turned that other guy into a fucking kebab.” Surprise, this is a different kind of superhero story.

We’ve already broken two box office records, we blew The Hangover out of the water by Thursday night, I’m getting ready to go see it a fourth time, and the theatre is completely packed. We’ve already quadrupled what the studio gave them to MAKE the movie, so we need to keep it up and maybe we’ll get more movies like Deadpool, and cement more funds for the sequel!!!!

To the United States fans

If you are able to it’s very important that you see Deadpool this weekend

Fox did not want to do this movie, did not want to make it R-rated, and did not want to make Deadpool pansexual

Fans forced them into making the movie after footage was leaked and everyone insisted they wanted the movie made but Fox still had reservations: they gave them very little money to make the movie, insisted that it be PG-13, and wanted Deadpool straight

Fans then forced them with more pressure to make it rated R and they capitulated but they were still too scared to make Deadpool pansexual

Rhett Reese, co-writer of the script, was tweeting less than a year ago about how Deadpool would be heterosexual and once again the fans stepped in and put a lot of pressure on the studio to the point where the director, Tim Miller, stepped in to make changes and so desperately wanted us to calm down that in an interview in which he wasn’t even questioned about Deadpool’s sexuality he yells out “Pansexual! I want that quoted. Pansexual Deadpool.”

It’s no secret or speculation that Fox and other studios are playing close attention to how well the opening weekend does to see if any of this will be lucrative. Not only listening to the fans in general, or having an R-rated superhero movie, but having sexual and gender minorities be in superhero films

Yes, a second movie has already been approved and Tim Miller said he wants to explore Deadpool’s sexuality further in it and Ryan Reynolds said he wants Deadpool to date a man in it but they will only get away with it if they can convince Fox that the people who are boycotting are a very small minority

We got close to having a bisexual Spiderman (sort of) by having people who work on the film showing an interest in making him bisexual but the studio wouldn’t take the chance and perhaps this is because of all the backlash from bigots who threatened to boycott

We have to be bigger and better than the people who are boycotting because everyone is watching

So, saw an article that on Thursday night alone, the Deadpool movie has already made over 12 million. I’m pretty sure despite some people boycotting the movie, we’ve shown the studio that having a pansexual character doesn't really effect how well a movie does. Hopefully this is the proof they need. I’ve already seen it three times, and I have thoroughly enjoyed each viewing, especially finding more easter eggs.

Spideypool fans assemble!

We’re all super jazzed about the Deadpool movie so I want to make sure no one’s forgotten about Spider-Man/Deadpool #01, it comes out Jan 6th

Spider-Man/Deadpool was created due to a write in campaign by Spideypool fans after the editor @jordandwhiteqna conceded that if we want to see them them fuck we better writing a lot of letters. So we did.

Joking aside, although our darling Jordan still doesn’t get why we like these two characters together they are going a lot further in the series then any of us thought they would. In the preview of the first issue Deadpool jizzes on Spiderman.

Now, if you want to encourage this series to continue all you have to do is buy it, so make sure you buy it! You can find the nearest comic book store to you through the comic book store locator or simply buy it online at places like Midtown comics to get a physical copy or comixology to get a digital copy.

If you want to get a physical copy you have a lot of different options because they released a ton of variant covers. If you’re not familiar with comic books this means that every issue will be the same but you can get them with different covers depending on what appeals to you. They made a lot so you have a lot of options; anywhere from romantic

to funny

Make sure you guys get a copy because as long as a comic book sells well they will continue to give us what we want.
