I just wanted to post about an update to the story (Title: Can I Call Back Later?)

I’m currently working on the cover and plot

This image isn’t the final product!! I still need to make a few tweaks here and there, but I decided that I’m going to post it to show y’all the basics of what I’m going for :))

I have an idea down for what I’m going to do for the story and the characters:

(Bare with me, I’m not very good at explaining (T - T))

The sheep character on the left (Saisha) is a college student majoring in Fine Arts in Photography. One of her big interests is true crime media and mysteries in general. She’s shares a room with Wildstyle, a student majoring in Sculpting (Fine Arts). They along perfectly the first time they met, and started talking damn near everyday. However, one day, when she’s trying to find the perfect photo, she notices Wildstyle carrying an abnormally large trash bag leaving a trail of strange red liquid. As she goes to investigate, she see them talking on the phone with someone, saying something about a “new assignment.” Wanting to learn more, Saisha steps in closer to get a better hearing until she accidentally breaks a twig (ah yes, the classics). Fearing that she could get caught, the sheep runs back to her dorm. The thoughts of Wildstyle possibly murdering someone raced in her mind. Why would they do this? What’s this next assignment? Could she be next? Refusing to believe this, she must try to get to the bottom of this madness. But, what Saisha doesn’t know is that she is treading in waters that are far more deeper than she could ever imagine.

I love Josh’s anti-classism so much. I grew up in a single parent household that didn’t have time/the ability to cook. I taught myself as an adult and ended up loving it. I cook with this stuff a lot. Shit, the RealLemon juice ends up in a lot of my cocktails. Sure, I like fancy ingredients when I can afford them and I have things I get picky about using - but I have bad hands, mincing garlic is painful as fuck. There’s a lot to be said for knowing how to work with what you have. Don’t shame people for trying, don’t shame people for feeding their families things that they enjoy.
