Most, if not all, of Riz's art or fanart has him with green hair. For some reason I decided he had black hair. I stand by that choice and I think the goblins should get a variety of hair colors, as a treat.

Riz, like Gorgug, has black sclera, simply because I wanted Riz to have amber eyes. And also because of the lighthouse analogy Fabian gives for his eyes *chef's kiss*

Riz, canonically, doesn't have a tail, but so many people have written or done art of him with a tail (our supreme overlord of the aasimar au, @whatisamildopinion being a prime example), so of course he's got a tail and he wraps it around people (did Fabian get an intense jealousy before all this to see Riz's tail hooked around Adaine's ankle when they were sitting in the grass, studying while Kristen and Fig napped when Fabian and Gorgug were at bloodrush practice? Yeah, yeah, Fabian's got issues, and he likes how it feels when it would wind around his arm when Riz was fast asleep)

Riz who had to suppress all of his goblin-like tendencies as a child and unlearning those traits upon becoming an adventurer, all because he was taught that those things made him monstrous.

homeskillet I love fabriz so much and I am gonna be so excited for when school starts up again in fic (as of ch 52 we are not even back yet lol) bc I want to write Fabian trying to not look completely in love with Riz, meanwhile Riz is keeping it on the DL without too much effort lol.

Fabian has absolutely had some spells added to their matching necklaces so they've got a permanent Message infused to them and can transmit physical sensation, which is incredibly flustering for Riz lol, here's a little snippet:

It was a disconcerting feeling, trying to reach to feel his partner touching him and coming up with nothing. Riz had nothing cling onto, so he had to grip the tree behind to keep from overbalancing. But he was still breathless as the mouth left his to kiss lightly down his throat, passing right through his shirt to the mottled skin underneath. It took a few moments of trying not to get distracted by the feeling of a warm, wet mouth sucking against his skin, knowing it would leave no mark. You would absolutely do that, Riz grumbled once he’d focused, batting at the air and Fabian’s chuckle rumbled through his mind. Fabian released him and Riz straightened his clothes like Fabian had mussed them with his hands and mouth, even though there wasn’t any proof of it; it was becoming an automatic movement for him.

All Riz has to do to get Fabian to fold like cheap laundry is lean in, arch an eyebrow and ask him to be a good boy. Fabian is forever losing it lol, poor baby.

Riz being like 'I'm not comfortable with trying to leave a hickey' and then like two days later being like 'okay, I'm down to try this'

He's so determinedly rational about his relationship because he's like 'oh, I just need practice' and Fabian's in the corner like 'his practice is perfect and my heart can't fucking take it'

Riz who doesn't need romance in his life to give it meaning but still enjoying its presence is very me coded I won't lie, demisexual writer to demisexual character pipeline lol.

I am a big fan of writing Fabian playing with Riz's tail or any of the aspects of him that people consider monstrous, because Fabian is just fanning himself, red in the face going "godDAMN! Prettiest little husband on the plane! Bite me please, sweetheart, I'm not above begging." and Riz is unimpressed.

Fabian has found out that Riz likes to have his hair tugged, in addition to being sensitive to his ears and tail, and, lemme say, he's looking forward to using that against Riz when he least expects it 🥵🥵

They went off to college with their twin Rae (@zephyriwindmagic) and after awhile their best friend Katie followed to the same university. I, a year later, opted to stay in my hometown and attend community college.

One day, walking out of Jimmy Johns, I got a call from Percy, kinda out of the norm, and over the course of the phone call Percy admits that they don't feel like a girl and I don't even skip a beat and ask if they think they're trans. Naruto had grown taller since he'd last seen him several months ago, but his missives kept him well-appraised of his life. He'd just started dating the shy Hyuuga girl that Matsuri was best friends with and she stood at his side wearing an obi sash full of scrolls, clearly Naruto had taught her a thing or two about them as they'd grown closer.

"Just managed to get to see your speech," he grinned rakishly, "you're killing it!"

"HINATA!" Matsuri flew past Gaara to collide solidly into her, almost sending her sprawling into the ground.

They all laughed, but Gaara only smiled faintly.

"Priorities, I'll tell ya," Naruto said with a snort, reaching out to embrace Gaara so easily that Shukaku twitched in annoyance inside the confines of his mind. "Everyone sends their congratulations. We got you something."

"We?" Gaara asked curiously as Naruto knelt to pull a small gourd like the overlarge one he carried with him still.

"It was mostly Mito's idea," Naruto admitted, grinning, "but the seal was all me."

"Obviously," Temari sniggered.

He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Well, it allows for more sand to be stored in a smaller space which frees you up for a lot of movement, I know you were saying your taijutsu needed work."

Gaara took it, noting the small kanji for 'three' and 'nine' painted against it. "I love it," he promised. "I'm glad you could make it, It meant a lot to me."

That made Naruto blush. "Ah, don't worry, wouldn't have missed it for the world, I think Tsunade-baa-chan made sure to send me on this mission so I'd be in the area for it. She offered it to Mito first, but Mito said she had a date."

"Ooh! Who charmed the Futton no Mito?" Kankurou jeered.

"It has to be Shikamaru," Matsuri said, tuning into the conversation at long last. "She's always been sweet on him."

Naruto laughed. "They make an interesting couple, that's all Tou-chan'll say about it. I think my folks have been waiting on them for awhile, which is kinda funny. There's a running joke that she'll be a Nara by the time she becomes Hokage, which means that she'll be the first Nara Hokage, which the clan gets a kick out of."

Of course she would, wearing the Nara Clan's symbol proudly between her shoulder blades.

"You must join us for lunch," Gaara insisted. "I want to hear about everything."

"Might be a long lunch."
