More Fakemon! Meet Mousupial and Marsinister, the poison opossum Pokémon. I noticed that we didn’t have any opossum Pokémon and started doodling Mousupial. I don’t know how the idea of a giant fake tail came to me, but once my friend pointed out that opossums were immune to snake venom I knew I had to make it look like Ekans! For Mousupial it’s a defense mechanism—poor fella is constantly anxious and needs a hug—but for Marsinister it’s a decoy to distract from the real danger. These guys are some combo of normal, dark, and poison. Marsinister definitely has the hidden ability Poison Heal.
