Christians experience job dissatisfaction too. What typical Christian advice on this subject lacks in empathy is made up in judgmentalism. Psalm 137:1-6 describes the emotional struggle of longing for a place that brings joy and fulfilment. Harps hanging on willows represents something way out of place, like anyone in an ongoing, life-draining, soul-crushing job situation. I am a Christian. I have an unfulfilling job. Witness matters to me because it matters to the mission of Christ. Every once in a while I run across something that helps me through the struggle one more day. I hope having someone who really understands helps you.
