The supporters of the conspiracy theory known as QAnon said that the incident that led to the deaths of 10 people at the King Soopers supermarket in Boulder on the 22nd of March, was fake. They did this using messaging platforms such as Telegram. "There's no question the Boulder, CO incident today was a fake," wrote one QAnon account with more than 260,000 followers. The Media Tapes QAnon members claimed the mass shooting in Boulder the state of Colorado on Monday was faked. While both local and federal officials mourned the victims of the shooting, some members of the conspiracy group QAnon were claiming. The QAnon group on the messaging app Telegram asserted that the shooting was staged to encourage gun control legislation. Newsweek obtained messages from these QAnon activists. One QAnon fan with more than 79,000 subscribers posted: "There is no doubt that this was fake flag." "False flags are a distraction method." The community of QAnon also said witnesses on the scene were paid actors, and that the police officer who was killed was not really killed.
