Let’s share some lore you definitely never heard about… 😉

So, since this is a No Miraculous AU, @trishacollins had the brilliant idea to replace the Kwamis by dæmons, like the ones you find in The Golden Compass. They are basically the animal equivalent of a soulmate, and while they can actually speak, they also have a telepathic bond with their holders.

Felix’s dæmon, Duusu, is a very upbeat peahen who balances his cold exterior quite well. They’ve been through Hell and back together. Growing up around Colt, they exclusively talked through their bond so as not to be heard: Duusu kept up the habit and rarely speaks, while Felix constantly talks to her out loud to make up for lost time.

Since dæmons are the physical manifestation of a person’s soul, they can generate a lot of prejudice… I’m sure this won’t be relevant to anyone we know… ❤️🐉

PS: My phone auto-corrected “Felix” to “friend” in the tags… So true bestie… 💜🦚
