i think what separates a gilgamesh ship i like to a gilgamesh ship i dislike is how gilgamesh views the other person. like i get he wont view most as his equal, most serve as entertainment or as a mere sight to observe. but to what extent does he denigrate them? will this change? will he grow to respect them and their individual self, or will the relationship consist of solely him drowning them out in his excess? or will their colors also be able to shine in his vat of cloying gold?

its fine if people like ships where gilgamesh has full control, i just like seeing him get opposed and smacked down to size; and derive pleasure in seeing him being forced to appreciate individuals more.
