But wait! What would be the reaction of esbs Victor if Stephan were to look at Yuuri in a gala or something and be like #WANT

(hmmmm I think I’ll answer this question with a little ficlet… :))

Victor was always in favor of going to benefit galas, because because that meant one thing: Yuuri in a tux.

His husband was across the room, talking to Chris and Andre, his face lit up as he told them a story. As Victor stood in line waiting for drinks, it was unbelievably hard not to stare at the way Yuuri’s tuxedo pants stretched over his beautiful ass in all the right ways.

Victor shook himself mentally. Later. He had to hobnob with sponsors and other skaters for at least another hour or two until he could whisk Yuuri away in their limo and do all the things he wanted to do to that ass.

“Victor,” a dulcet, familiar accented voice said from behind him.

Victor picked up the two glasses of champagne the bartender had just set down and turned, smiling. “Stephane.”

“Good to see you, old friend,” Stephane Lambiel said, grinning widely. “It’s been a while.”

“It hasn’t been the same around here since you retired.” Victor pouted a little exaggeratedly. 

“Oh please. I’m sure you and many other younger skaters are glad not to have this old bag of bones hanging around.” 

Victor rolled his eyes and took a sip of his champagne.

“So, that’s your Yuuri, eh?” Stephane took a long drink from his gin and tonic, looking Yuuri up and down from across the room.

Victor narrowed his eyes. “Down, boy.”

Stephane raised his eyebrows. “Just because you’re both off the market now doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the view, cheri.”

Victor huffed out a laugh. “Come, I want you to meet him.”

They weaved their way across the room to where Yuuri, Andre and Chris were standing. 

“God, finally,” Yuuri said, grinning up at Victor as he accepted his drink. “I was dying of thirst.” 

“You probably shouldn’t drink champagne, then,” Stephane said coyly.

Yuuri choked on his drink, staring up at him with wide eyes. “St-Stephane Lambiel?”

“The one and only,” Stephane said. He took Yuuri’s hand and kissed it in extravagant fashion. “So good to meet you,” he said, his voice liquid honey. Yuuri’s face went beet-red. 

“Okay, okay,” Victor said, stepping to Yuuri’s side and sliding his arm around Yuuri’s waist. 

“Wait. You know each other?” Yuuri looked up at Victor.

“Do they know each other?” Chris chortled. “He and Victor used to–” 

“Chris,” Victor interrupted, pushing Chris toward the bar. “I think you need a refill.”

Chris rolled his eyes, but he obeyed. “Darling?” he asked Andre.

“Coming,” Andre replied, following him.

Yuuri was looking back and forth between Victor and Stephane as if he were trying to figure something out. 

“So. You two…” 

“Ah, yes, well. It was…a while ago,” Stephane said, flashing that brilliant grin of his. “But maybe the three of us could…?”

“Stephane,” Victor snapped. Yuuri’s face went even more red, and he took another long swig of his drink.

Stephane shrugged. “I’m just saying, I’d be up for it.” He clapped Victor on the arm, and winked at Yuuri. “See you around, lovebirds.”

He sauntered off, and Yuuri and Victor watched him go.

“Did he just…”

“Yes.” Victor took a long swig from his own glass, feeling his face heat up.

“And you two…”

“Yeah.” 

“Okay.” Yuuri bit his lip, and Victor winced, and then…Yuuri started laughing uproariously.

“It’s not funny,” Victor hissed.

“No, actually, it’s hilarious,” Yuuri countered. “You and Stephane, wow. That’s… erm. It’s actually kind of hot.” 

He bit his bottom lip, and his pupils were getting a bit darker as he looked up at Victor. 

It was like a pavlovian mechanism whenever Yuuri looked at him like that.

“Dammit, Yuuri,” Victor said under his breath. 

Yuuri smiled at him slyly, sliding his hand around Victor’s waist. “How much more time do you have to put in?” 

Victor looked around, and saw all the people he still hadn’t talked to. “None,” he said, grabbing Yuuri’s hand and leading him toward the exit, and their limo, Yuuri laughing in his wake.

Fanfiction author appreciation shoutout to every single writer producing fanfiction be it once a year or once every two weeks. A lot of people don’t understand fanfiction is a hyper-concentrated expression of how much you love something, and it takes a lot of bravery to share that with people who might judge you for simply wanting to give that happiness to others. 

Always remember ‘you do you’ and to be proud of yourself. Fandom would be nothing without its fanfiction writers.
