You see the thing about Amiya fully impersonating the edgy teenager aesthetics while remaining a very wholesome and idealistic kid at heart is that if you follow that path to its endpoint or possibly even a bad end you get Arturia, who even as an adult successfully managed to sell her evil villainess persona as self-proclaimed embodiment of chaos so well that everyone be it the readers or even characters in-universe automatically assume the absolute worst about her actions and expect her to be much more evil than she actually is (as much as she isn't actually innocent, mind you). But when the inner truth about her was unveiled we found out that at the core of her character there was also an idealistic little girl like Amiya, someone whose entire being is guided by the belief that we should fight for a world where everyone can truly be free and equal and no one is left behind, someone who has never accepted the injustice of her mother having to die just because she tried to do the right thing and follow her heart deciding to help others, someone who wants to unite the world through empathy and willingly carries the weight of the emotions and lives of everyone on her back and is passionate enough about it she was able to convince the Witch King himself, one of the biggest stand-in for fascism in the game, about the value of her dream. There are big differences of course, Arturia is much more warped, has different obsessions and presentation and has caused real suffering and damage in her quest, but man, when you see how much she and Amiya get along in her operator record, how they instantly open their hearts and have a serious talk from a black-crowned chuuni empath to another, and how supportive Amiya is being the only one who can guarantee for her while she's being judged in her files, it's just so heartwarming. Amiya is the edgy teenager and Arturia is that weird aunt who's the only one who truly gets what's going on and supports her while her parents tell her she'll grow out of that phase and thinks about how she also would have wanted someone who understood her like that when she was her age.
