One of my most beloved Tristan headcanons is Tristan being Demiromantic and -sexual! He is fully Demi!

This Headcanon is based on his MyRoom Lines, his Interlude and his overall evolution in the Main Story! And while I based this Headcanon on Fate/Grand Order first and mainly I also think it does fit into his actual Lore. My preferred Telling of the Tristan Story is by Gottfried von Straßburg and I think especially there he gives me this vibes very strongly!

you know, it’s one thing to see gender: unknown (or something to that affect) tucked away in a profile you’d have to go out of your way to check out, and another for nonbinary to just be stated outright in the text of the story

actually i am forever thinking abt oberon’s single interaction with another ’fractured identity’ little girl of fgo being nursery rhyme who he fundamentally cannot agree with because oberon was forced into the role of fiction and hates his creator and the fact he is fictional at all while nursery rhyme is the hero of children and the personification of beautiful fairy tales and loves every single one of her readers
