Several of these pictures were made specifically for my iceberg.. about the plot and logical holes in the book. I have the text almost ready and soon I will voice it and edit the video.

Unless I speak Russian, but I will also post the video here along with a picture of the iceberg, and people who want to translate it into their language can ask me for a link to the text! (later)

Sundew clothing, based off Ashigaru, Japanese light infantry! The helmet is called a jingasa, and the straw raincoat a mino. I headcanon that the poisonwings lop off their horns when drafted into the military, to make it easier to fit helmets onto their heads, to use the horns for composite bows, and for a symbolic reason as well. I also like the idea of Pantalan dragons using primitive fire arms, though not quite effective enough to completely phase out melee weapons and bows.

i haven't seen anyone mention this yet but leafwing scales were most likely based off of mirror carp scales

side by side comparison, leafwings even have the lateral line fish scales do lol (those dots that run through the middle most scales)

if you need a reference for leafwing scales images of mirror carp are a good source for that!!
