I feel like I'm out of the loop on this one but have the children of the internet been describing themselves as empaths and then processing the world through that lens as if it's an actual thing that exists? Like they seriously identify as someone who is super good at feelings? They think that's an actual personality type? Or medical condition? All of them can't possibly mean it in the psychic sense. Like they think it's the opposite of sociopath? They think they're so good at feelings and sensitive to the feelings of others that they're willing to base a medical diagnosis on that fact? They're diagnosing themselves with Feels Too Much Disorder?

There's a woman in my office who has been here nearly 40 years and doesn't have an assistant so for some reason I have to do all her admin work and I cannot fucking stand this woman. I have never wanted to do violence to someone more. This is not and should not be part of my job. I have done hours of overtime to do shit for this woman and she still isn't satisfied and makes me do it all over instead of quickly fixing something herself. She sucks at communicating and it takes forever to get her to clarify what she wants. I hate her so much. But she's my boss's bestie so I can't do much about it.
