Behold, the Guardian of The House!

Yep, finally got around to getting The Cat's intro comic posted. Funnily enough I've actually gotten a lot more backstory and plot since I made this one, but it's still accurate to the Cat.

Spoopy forgets that they're a ghost sometimes, or what exactly they can or can't do because of it. Very annoying when they want to pet The Cat.

This is Loomer. Loomer has issues with the imperial system. Especially how they measure barrel sizes.

A small doodle with our fourth member of Haunted Marshes. They don't show up as often, but are always around somewhere. Please welcome, The Cat.

The cat will have its own little introduction comic later on, I just have to dig it out and find it. For now, they will just keep Swamp from having water.

This particular episode is part of a longer set, but idk exactly how many yet. I'll let people know once they're all drawn.

Next up is Swamp!

Swamp is a broke collage student who was offered the choice of either living in the dorms or the freaky old house down the road. Swamp chose the house, mostly to avoid potential roomates, and ended up with Spoopy and Loomer instead.

He's pretty much used to them by now, and sometimes forgets that there's even anything supernatural about his housemates. Loomer is usually the one to remind them of the strangeness, as it amuses him.

Swamp doesn't really know much about anything supernatural, and doesn't have the energy to really care. The House is very nice, if a little spooky, and while it came with some weird upkeep instructions, it's got to be better than the dorms. Also rent is dirt cheap, so if that means he has to deal with the rooms rearranging and thingd floating, so be it.

Here's Loomer's full character sheet. I might update these later once I have more content of this and if it gets any traction, but here we go!

Loomer is definatly the outright scariest of the Haunted Marshes crew. He's tall, and ominous, and doesn't really seem to care about death or carnage. Make no mistake, Loomer understands these concepts no problem, he just doesn't care. He has been around for longer than Spoopy for sure, though he wasn't paying much attention to the mortal realm for a majority of that time, as the other inhabitants of the House were boring. His design is pretty consistent, much like Spoopy's, because it's so simple. Though the hood has become less pointy, and I've gotten better at his shading and the shadowy aura he has.

First up for a full explanation is Spoopy!

Spoopy has been in the House for a long time, and although they are a ghost, they get into a lot of shenanigans. These were the first deawings of Spoopy, and they're a little faded. But the gist of it is that Spoopy is a sheet ghost. They do have another form, but since Spoopy doesn't remember it, they're stuck as a sheet ghost for now. They also don't always pay attention to what's going on around them, which can result in some funny mix ups.

Welcome to my blog for my comic Haunted Marshes! Over the next week or so, I'm going to be posting some character sheets, as well as some little comics i have done for it. This is more of a slice of life horror than something with a plot for now. But we'll just have to see what happens to it over time. I hope you all enjoy this chaos!
