Something you know about them, that many others don’t? with the Conductor

He doesn't have a lot of secrets but there's a few things I know that lots of folks might not

•he smokes a pipe

•his favorite smell is peppermint or spearmint

•he still has the same tin toy train he got for Christmas as a kid kept in a glass cabinet in the living room on display

•personally he prefers his Christmas trees to be decorated with limited colors in mind, but he knows the trees in your home are meant to me more of a mishmash of ornaments with different styles and memories attached

Also just something we do every Christmas eve night after we come back home from work is pull out the mattress and put it in front of the fireplace to sleep in the living room for the night

1. Who would end a heated argument by defending their actions with ‘because I love you!’ ?

For sure Ted, although he would immediately slap his hand over his mouth lmao

2. What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare?

Since Ted is a chronic nightmare haver he's mostly the one to worry about, although I've also had my fair share of those [especially recently] and the best thing to do for both of us is just grounded physical comfort, and some gentle shushing and back patting if there's any crying

3. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

Well Charlotte likes to be protected more than anything, and Ted does want to protect her, but he's really not very good at it and just ends up hurting her more in the long run a lot of the time

4. Describe their cozy night in.

It would have to be sometime when Charlotte's husband won't be back for a while, otherwise something like that just wouldn't really be able to happen. But we'd probably have a marathon movie night, each with our own pick. Ted would pick Borat, I'd probably choose The Thing, and I don't know any romcoms but I'm sure Charlotte would pick something like that. There would also be snackage and drinkage and maybe a timer going to see how long we could last on the same couch under the same blanket without going crazy style on each other

5. Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)

Only when no one else is home, but Charlotte likes to steal Ted's clothes when she can and wear them around the house sometimes. If she ever gets caught she just says he left them behind when he was over last time

Most likely not, there doesn't seem to be enough joy and whimsy in anyone's heart here for that tbh😔

7. What happens if one of them gets sick?

If it was Ted, he would stay home and pretend he could take care of himself, but Charlotte would insist on caring for him, which he would secretly like

If it was Charlotte then Ted would probably just drop medicine off at her house without anyone knowing it was him

Tbh if I got sick they'd probably let me fall of a bridge or something lmao

They kind of take turns needing the other one, even though they both pretend they don't. Of course they always do leave each other by morning because that's how it has to go with them. I'm just amused at how desperate they are for each other lol

He's not planning on ever having kids, but if Ted ever became a father he could probably shape up enough to be an okay dad. not good, maybe not even decent, but like. okay

And as much as Charlotte has tried to have kids she's kind of resigned to the fact she never will, even though she has no idea why it's never worked. [She's got a flask in one hand and a cigarette in the other but if she hasn't figured it out by now she never will] and besides if she did become a mother she'd probably become bored and neglectful within a few years

I don't want kids and if I ever get anyone pregnant I'm outta there🔥🔥🔥
