Log 3, 09/30/2328, 16:46 UMT
Log entry 3, recording. Sat down in the officers’ recreation area today. Place felt completely untouched. For over a day I left no stone unturned in the station as I looked over and over. The medical staff, the subjects, the project scientists… all left nothing behind. Ordinance Station XIV is practically dead in its non-operation. Requests for a forensics team was denied. I was told I needed to continue my investigation, even as my patience and my sanity run dry by the day. There is a presence in the machinery that has designs on me… End log.

Heading of post: Log 2, 09/28/2328, 10:17 UMT
Log entry 2, recording. Have made landfall at the station’s landing bay. All available starships have gone missing, as if they were never there. Scrounged the databases of the station only to find it encrypted. Entering the override master passkey, I found that everything was gone from since 02/05/2325, the start date of the trials. It was as if something had gone so wrong so quickly that the entire database was scrubbed clean from that date onward. The mystery worsens by the day and I cannot imagine how deep this rabbit hole will go. End log.

Log 1, 09/27/2328, 23:34 UMT
Log entry 1, recording. I have been appointed by the Judicial Committee of the Human Alliance to investigate the strange reports that have been coming from Ordinance Station XIV regarding research into Neuralink mind-melder hardware tests on humans, conducted since 2325. The reports state that after finally showing promising neuron spike detection, all contact from the station to the Alliance’s main comms channels was cut off. The worst was feared, and I must see the facts for myself. End log.
