Would like to take this opportunity to show everyone the little hoopoe sculpture I have :3

I’m not good at identifying & differentiating between the Hoopoe species, but because this was made in Zimbabwe I’m assuming it’s an African Hoopoe (Upupa africana) :)

People who say they saw a blue whale in captivity are either lying or confused

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking partially, but I also wonder, is it possible to temporarily keep a blue whale for the sake of research? Also someone said there might’ve been a juvenile blue whale kept in captivity once.

Apologies that I didn’t look into this before posting, but if you answered “seen in captivity”, please tell me where/how! As far as I can tell there’s never been a blue whale in zoos, so I can only assume people who have seen them in captivity have either seen them in a research/rehab setting, or are simply lying. If you are lying, please don’t do that!! I know it can be tempting to lie on the internet, but I’d really love for these poll results to be as accurate as possible!! Thank you!
