Your culture and nationality is important to determine your quality of life and human rights.People from different countries have different cultures and ethics that they believe;this shows how they treat people.Your nationality can result in the most pathetic human right, which is racism.People are suffering form lack if education in countries like India,Pakistan,Africa,China,Nigeria,Ethiopia and many more. Many other countries have a policy if arranges marriage where a girl doesn't have the right to marry who she wants .Human trafficking and slavery can also result in financially poor countries, where labored are taken for granted and are abused. In my opinion a country with a good social, economic and political status can provide comfort and ensure security for its citizens.

Journal Prompt
My passion is reading.Reading takes me to places only I can imagine.Reading adds color to my life.Reading is probably one of the most beneficial and feasible activities that an individual can do. It is through reading that a person is going to be able to discover new ideas, concepts, places, and people. I,personally describe reading as a journey that starts as the opening of a page, and finishes as the last page is turned. The reason why reading is so important is because reading is relaxing to my mind and soul; it is a way for me to reach out to the world, and it improves my thinking process.I think we all are incomplete without our zeal;admit it:life's boring without it.When you are passionate about something ,then you can do it when you are stressed out or even feeling bored for a matter of fact.My all time favorite is John green. His books are fantabulous!.His passions is reading and writing since it makes him explore his inner self and more about his outer world.I read about his passion and more about him in a news article that I read recently.

Right to Education
Education is the most effective tool and medium for human development.Without education, our lives are inadequate and incomplete.Education is the key to a bright future. However,it's very unfortunate that not all among us can be educated although we are all bound to education.I believe that the right to education is essential for every individual as it suites him of a better tomorrow . -Havva -10A

Social media
Social media is the means of communication in today’s fast moving world.Every individual has his/her own gain and loss through social networking sites.Social Networking sites has it’s own pros and cons and is perceived differently from individual to individual based on their ethics, beliefs, etc.People often tend to think that social media has a “negative impact” on the younger generation of today, which contradicts the argument of advantages of social networking .Social media has many advantages.Social media can be very beneficial in the learning process.
Social media can enhance the learning atmosphere as it is a “hub”for sharing ideas, creativity and productivity of originality.Through social net working, people from around the world can meet and share ideas, thus producing the best of whatever they’re working on.Through social media ,one can sense other individual’s point of view and share and discuss about it.Sites such as tumblr,Facebook,Instagram are the major sources of sharing opinions and comments.Social media has also impacted globalization. Through advertisements that appear as a side tag in many sites, customers can know which product to buy or not.A lot of consumer commercial research can be done online, resulting in efficient results.Sites like edmodo provide learners a new and fun filled environment making education more fun than piling up an individual with tons of heavy text books.Sites like instagram and tumblr can serve as search engines to look for pictures or ideas. Thus social media can be a main element in the learning process and also be one of the most significant means of education. -HAVVA -10A

Reflection Summative
Self reflection This quarter was a thrilling experience. Many of my perspectives and ideas changed gradually over the weeks. For instance,at the beginning of this unit I used to think reputation doesn’t matter as long as you are a good person with an outstanding personality,as character is what you really are while reputation is what people merely think of you. However many of my views changed when I posted about that fact that we should care about our reputation to a certain extent .I had to change the belief inside me ,which was tedious initially but something I got used to eventually. I have taken part in many of the class discussions and proved to my classmates an incomplete world without justice by stating specific examples such as mentioning the court room scene where Mary Warrens is being accused for something she has not encountered. The crucible was one of the main reference that helped me understand the theme of justice and reputation better.Tumblr has enhanced my writing experience as it works better for me than writing on paper. The auto spell correct works very well in order to check your spelling.Through tumblr, I have acquired critical analysis skills ,whereby I post a picture and relate it to the theme/idea ,I will be discussing in my post. For instance,I posted a picture of die and water and related it to my post that talked about reputation. In my post,I stated the fact that reputation is like die and water and metaphorically compared it by stating that a tiny little drop of dye can change the color of the large quantity of water, just like how people ignore all your characteristics and centralise on your reputation, thus tarnishing your reputation for life .I enjoyed doing the week 5 topics about connecting reputation with a real life circumstance.I also enjoyed doing the week 7 posts because it was all about arguing and persuading ,which is what I love a lot.Using technology in my opinion is better than writing/reading from a paper.I would have never bother to read the posts if Ms Chloe would have printed it out for me.Checking my classmates posts on tumblr makes me enthusiastic and works as an introduction before I post my posts.I think I excelled in the justice act this quarter.I put my hundred percent effort on it.My efforts went drawing the drain when I came to know that it was formative .I think my acting skills improved and I discovered that I can express myself through acting..I worked very hard in the three paragraph argumentative analysis by comparing a book and a movie, and achieved fruitful marks .=( I should improve my sentence writing skills ,as the structure of my sentence is too long and I put a lot of comma’s ;even in places that they’re not needed.
Peer Reflection Tumblr posts were way more interesting, specific and formal tether than listening to opinions in class. For instance,at the beginning of this unit I used to think reputation doesn’t matter as long as you are a good person with an outstanding personality,as character is what you really are while reputation is what people merely think of you .However,I realized I was wrong after reading some of my classmate’s posts such as Anusha’s ,Pamela’s and many more.I learnt a life lesson ! Reputation is significant but only upto a certain extent. One should really care about their reputation .Taking part in collaborative discussions resulted in a great method to share ideas .I adored my classmates’s diverse views on topics such as Impact of Social media, difference in understanding the theme while using two different mediums upon hearing the discussion we had at class.I would have not learnt all these facts as I’m a visual learner and tumblr aided e with all the pictures and the posts.I don’t like it when your working in a group and it becomes cumbersome to meet for all the members who work with the group.I love the teamwork and unity when it comes to group work .It lessens the burden as you can equally divide the work amongst the members. The quality of the work and creativity takes up a new turn while your’e working in a group.Accomplishing your work in groups becomes a lot more easier than working individually .For instance the editing and casting the play would have been impossible to achieve without my group’s hundred percent dedication.I think the play was the biggest success as all the group members were satisfied and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I may look like this little short clumsy girl, but deep inside I am someone you can’t expect. I walk around, travel and chat. I hear everyone accusing Muslims of being terrorists. The world insults Muslims for every violent act that happens. “They are terrorists” I heard them shouting. Is this...

Value of Reputation Reputation is the dignity and the name an individual earns for himself amongst a group of people. In life today there numerous people who have different views on reputation. Reputation could be a desired thing to for people that worry about what people think of them. In a reversal view of reputation, some people don’t care what people think about them and go on about their life being who they truly are.An individual should neither be obsessed with their reputation nor should they neglect it and be happy-go-lucky.Reputation should matter, but to a certain point only. Reputation is important as it defines a person and his/her background.People often like to mingle with good reputation than people with bad reputation .On the other hand ,reputation is considered to be a devastating turn for some people.Reputation is compared with dye and water,a satin and a dress and many more metaphors ,depicting that an individual's downfall can mainly result from his or her bad reputation.Reputation does matter but up-to a certain extent. When reputation crosses it's boundary, one should just let it go as there's nothing that can be done with it.Impressing people by wearing or using certain brands or even adopting certain looks for a matter of fact should not croons its limits as it will make an individual obsessed with maintaining his/her reputation. However ,an individual must not ignore his/her reputation as it may also lead to long term depression. As the great philosopher John Hancock once said "I cannot go about impressing all,but I sure can for the ones who care about me".He couldn't have defined reputation any better .Everything has it's own limits and so does reputation . -Havva -10A

Injustice worth fighting for
The real meaning of justice is treating people in a fair and respectful manner irrelevant of traits such as colour, gender, profession, race, nationality,so on and so forth. Justice manifests itself through the channels that society set up. Setting these channels up involves just laws &theory. This is done by a person or group of people selected by the community and with input from the community regarding what issues are important. The lack of “Women’s rights” is becoming a main world crisis ,thus calling for all women to act against it.Women are often degraded for being women and considered lower than men and so are given fewer privileges than men.For instance some women are prohibited to do certain stuff such as voting in many countries.Another injustice worth fighting for would be against the restriction of education of girls in countries like India,Pakistan,Afghanistan,Peru,Haiti and many other countries.Education is the key to a bright future and a door to a better world.By restricting the spread of knowledge,Girls are abandoned for life and can sense a dull future. This issue must be faced off and cleared so that every female born is granted her rights to be educated since birth.Education is not a sin but a lawful right to a bright future and thus must be granted to all. -Havva -10A

p>After learning about justice and reputation for all these weeks,I have started to see it in our daily lives.I can now distinguish justice from injustice and relate it to events that happen around me.My views about reputation have changed now.I think that people should care about their reputation to an extent rather than being happy-go-lucky;).I think we should be more concerned about our character because character is what you are while reputation is how people perceive you.I learnt that justice is equality and healthy as when justice is around people are happy.Happy people make a strong and united society which I. Turn will improve our worlds!.

This picture depicts the effect two different mediums can have on the same scene in a movie and the book.Maintaining the same theme ,directors would always manipulate the book and change it.I prefer reading a book over watching a movie as I'm a person who enjoys every specific detail.
