Hi <3 this is not related to Fbaa but if anyone reads this blog out there: I wanted to announce that I will be inactive despite Soul of blood and ash coming out soon. I am getting off social media for my mental health.

I hope the Da’neers have a happy ever after and cute moments in the book. I will join the reading and be probably back on tumblr fangirling as soon as I get better (probably sooner because I want to know what the hell will happen to sweet baby Eloana at least, I would probably look her name to know what happens and then when I have time and i am stable again I will read the book)

warning: me having an insane moment:

OH I LOVE THAT TOO I can totally see them. But not just as a simple guard but as you said like a general or something and he had to work his ass off to be there because at that point and before the mass murder that malec caused, atlantia was ruled by dieties so he had to prove himself to be an equal/a worthy rival. Because of not being a guard but more like a general or whatever, he wouldn’t always be around but every time he visited the palace he would make sure to see the queen at some point of his visit, even of she didn’t pay him much attention but he could not help it because she was the most beautiful woman he has ever since and he finds her attitude entertaining. Besdies, each time he visits realized that malec and eloana's marrige is literally falling a part and it’s worse every visit and at first “he was like well that is none of mu businesses” until he finds the queen crying about something her husband did or say or he saw malec give eloana the type of behavior a husband shouldn’t give his wife and he is PISSED to say the least, he starts to grow resentful towards malec and he believes he is unworthy of such a beautiful woman but he knows his hands are tied up because he can do nothing and that would frustrate them and piss him of more. He would try to help the queen by listening to her and with the past of time they grew a friendship, well actually she did, valyn just fell completely in love like he was fucked. The things is that he became her confident and not even her. could deny the tension between them but still she was not a cheater, not even if malec cheated. Then the war happens and Valyn is ready to decapitate whoever does not support eloana’s claim to the crown by herself, he is there for her support her through everything. Now that she is single, she allows herself to let whatever they have flow and they have to face it, their are completely in love

- ires and malec thing same I wouldn’t like to be there. Agree, ires was of course manipulated, threatened and abused but I honestly do not know whose side malec will chose because isbeth was his heartmate and he seemed to love her so maybe he will like gaslight himself into believing that she was not that bad. I imagine being like “you had children with her” or “you came to saved me as you say but you ended up having two children with my heartmate” and ires like “well i did not want to”. Idk there are a lot of unsolved issues there.

Attes and the Da’neer boys: agree, no matter how rough and uninteresting malik and cas can pretend to be i think they will be intrigued by attes and attes will be like “damn by bloodline has done something” and yes then he will teach them how to skin someone and they will be like practically taking notes

sera, malik and cas: agree, I do not believe malik and cas will be received with open arms by the mierels lmao but they will grow used to them and end up liking them, after all they do love millicent and poppy to death, they are brave, strong, *generally* kind or at least cas 💀, What existes me the most about this encounter is that while sera and nyktos have their plan and are proceeding carefully, casteel has his own plan and his own way of proceeding and he is a hardheaded that will not care who he is talking to so i do not think he will give up his own “way of working” so easily

Nyktos, millicent and poppy: love that idea that poppy is much more like nyktos and millicent is much more like sera and i completely agree. I hoe we get a few wholesome moments of them too

Characters meetings in Blood and Ash that I'm most exciting for:

Malec and Eloana plus Valyn

I want go see the world burn honestly. I said this already but I want Eloana and Malec to have this resentful attitude where they trow beef at everything the other says. And plus Valyn because I know my man will have eloana's back against everything. Besides, I can see Malec don’t liking Valyn not because he wants Eloana back or something but I believe Malec gives vibes of being that type of man that believes his dick changes a woman’s life forever so the fact that she remarried, moved on, had a life and named someone else king??? I think he would be like “this fucking idiot who he think he is, i am a god i am so much better than he him” bla bla bla and then Valyn, as I said he is always there for eloana plus he said he believed that Malec did not deserve her love so I don’t think Valyn likes Malec either, he probably recents him for what he did to his beloved wife (honestly same valyn)

I hope we get at least a snake peak of Sera and Isbeth

this is an obvios one, I just want to see isbeth literally suffering and sera having fun

Malik and his parents

this one is going to hurt me like a bitch. It already did when Valyn seemed about to cry when he saw Malik again and Malik couldn’t even look at his father. Malik recents his parents for hiding the truth from him so there is so much tension in here. I want the pain that come with this reunion but I hope that at the end everything is happy again

the bloodline it’s so confusing, I hope it’s hey explained in this book😭 I have so many questions and sooo much theories

I truly believe Casteel and Malik will both ascend into godhood at some point of the plot, there could be many reasons by and how but I just have the feeling that the brothers will have an iconic upgrade at some point for a reason or another

oh wait wait wait I know you of all people will love my supper delulu theory about Valyn before Eloana:

Valyn? My man? He was a farmer. Do I have actual concrete proof? no, but have a feeling. Casteel’s first opinion of lie when he was asked in Solis for his family was to say that they were farmers, then he has been interesting in reading about farming since he was a child, them Cas also says that Malik's boot would always be dirty because he would be outside all day and also Casteel loves horses. conclusion? They were raised by someone that loves being outside, likes animals and likes farming or is at least interesting in the subject because that was their lifestyle since childhood even though they were princess. I rest my case your honor

valyn before eloana:

I also want to know who Eloana descends from because she is also part of the elemental bloodlines so she is a direct relative of a primal. Imagine that it ends up that Malik and Casteel are the combination of the Primal of war and primal of beauty for example AAAAAH I want to know every single detail about this family. I want to know where they come from, I want to know where eloana and valyn come from, how they were before, how was malik and cas childhood, etc I want to know everything about this family before and after the current events in the plot

Yes I absolutely agree, I also have the theory that they must have had sometimes as father and daughter before isbeth put him on a cage.

The way Isbeth speaks about Ire's time in the mortal world sounds as of he stayed willingly for some time and in that time Millicent was born but THEN he tried to leave and that is when she encaged him and then she got herself pregnant with poppy.

Still, I wouldn’t say it was much time that Ires was free, therefore not much time he had with Millicent.

Let’s do some math:

- First of all the war of two kings was around 400 before the events of blood and ash

- eloana entombed malec at some point during the war, because the war started - good for her! (I think this is in the war of two queens when Isbeth explains that malec was supposed to leave atlantia with their son but he never came to her so she assumed eloana murdered him etc but I can’t find it, maybe I am wrong but I remember reading this at some point)

- First Malik was born and the Casteel

- Then 200 years after being entombed malec starts to like do to unconsciouses and like die basically but not dying and that is when Ires feels it and goes to look for Malec

- 200 years after the war is when ires comes across isbeth

- Casteel is 200+ so he must be older than Millicent she has to be 200 or 100+ which is more likely

-Now there are four important factors to determine more or less how long Ires was around I think: First is the fact that Millicent was indeed turned into a maiden and I assume he would not have allow it if he was around, second that Millicent did in fact went through an ascension where she must have been from 17 to 20 (If I recall correctly those were the ascension aged) but she died because they did not assisted her ascension correctly and I imagine that ires would have known what to do or would at least have given her his blood to try to save her, third I do not remember who said this but it was Callum then one who turned Millicent into a revenant because isbeth couldn’t live without her therefore it was not ires who helped, and last but not least the deplorable state ires was in when they found him, which as well as malec it probably did took some good years to get him into that state.

My theory is that it is safe to assume that Ires was present during Millicent’s childhood but bot longer than that.

But I still two questions left to answer:

- When Ires wanted to leave isbeth did he intended to do so with Millicent or not?

- Millicent seemed to know where Ires was, did she visit him? or did isbeth feed her with lies about her father to make sure millicent loss interesting in him? because I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case, after all isbeth always plays the victim

I want to hear ires sharing the story of what actually happened with him and isbeth and what was of Millicent at that time. I want to know if she used millicent against him as in “if you don’t do this I will hurt millicent” etc. As you said, it must have been hard for him knowing that Millicent was at Isbeth’s mercy knowing how horrible of a person she was and thet he could do absolutely nothing about but hope that he little girl was fine. agonizing honestly. so glad she is dead and suffering yey

Ires has been in a cage for centuries but he did not asked for the brother that he went to look for, he did not ask for jadis, he did not ask for his parents, etc. His first instinct was to look for Millicent between the people in the chamber. Millicent was his first thought right after he recognized Poppy. I AM SO BROKEN RIGHT NOW
