“Yeah, texting is better for me. Even in a quiet room, I have issues understanding people on the phone,” Clint replied, flushing lightly. He hated sometimes just how much of a handicap his hearing issues were, and how much sometimes people took for granted he could hear anything at all.
Ah, but - “Do you have a texting plan? Some people don’t and I don’t want you to worry about extra charges.” With money so tight some days, he couldn’t imagine asking anyone else to spend more just to be able to talk to him.

Oh, he was totally screwed. That laugh was adorable. He pushed the thought away. “You have a cell phone, then? I wasn’t sure.”
Though, he texted more than he called; it was harder to hear anything over the phone, even with his hearing aids. Clint hoped Bruce had some sort of texting plan.

“Shit,” Clint muttered as he hurried down the street. He hoped Bruce hadn’t been waiting long. His foster mom had wanted him to keep an eye on the younger ones while she went out for a moment, but the ten minute trip turned into a half hour and it was already passed time when they had promised to meet.
He was really looking forward to this, too. Bruce had been so adorably confused by archery and this whole demonstration would hopefully clear a lot of that up. And, well, he did kind of want to show off.
As he neared the Omega’s apartment and saw him pacing outside, he cringed. He should have called or something saying he was going to be late, but he didn’t know if Bruce even had a cell phone. “Hey, sorry I’m so late,” he said once within hearing distance.
A Shot in the Dark - Clint
Bruce paced anxiously outside of his apartment building as the sun rose over the city. He knew he and Clint had agreed to meet up a little later, but his nerves just had him completely on edge, so here he was, trying to work off some of the nervous energy. After making an idiot of himself several times in conversation with the alpha about archery, Clint had insisted he would just have to show him what it was all about, so they’d agreed to meet up outside of Bruce’s building the next day.
“Good god, don’t screw this one up, Banner,” he muttered to himself as he ran a hand through his hair. He was half-worried he’d offended Clint with his ignorance of the alpha’s passion and he really liked Clint. He’d had so few friends in his life and everyone here had been so nice so far, he’d found himself getting worked up over the thought of messing everything up. Clint he especially did not want to drive away, despite knowing how bad he probably was for the other boy. For some reason, he just couldn’t help wanting to be closer.

…Yeah Clint’s not really sitting, but he’s trying, okay?
I am now WinterHawk trash! I blame @april-429 for opening my eyes and @captn-sara-holmes for everything else (can’t tag for some reason, but we all know who is at fault xD)
(Was going to stay out of CW, but looks like in Soviet Russia, the side chooses you. I regret everything.)

“I wonder how long that will last, though, if Tony and Steve figure things out,” Clint replied, he climbed one branch higher than the target, glad it was a good sturdy one, and locked his legs around it before swinging down his upper body to grab the arrow. “Gonna just drop this to the ground. Can you put it in my quiver?”
After letting the arrow fall, he quickly curled back up to grab the branch again and made his way back down.

Oh, man, that’s quite the pile-up. I hope her health is better at least.
That is also the absolute worst way to find out you don’t have a job that I’ve ever heard. I don’t really have the means to offer financial assistance, but I’m sending a lot of good wishes her way and hope things look up soon, with a new job at the very least.
If she doesn’t see this herself, can you let her know that we’re rooting for her? Bruce’s mun and I. Life gets in the way (both of us can attest to that) and we will definitely not hold anything against her while she takes the time to sort things out.
Where's Steve?
So in case anyone has notices the unusual disappearance of Steve. The reason is because the universe is out to get her. She’s convinced.
It started because of finals, then she got uber sick and wasn’t able to get out of bed for days. Then holidays. She was going to come back this week.
BUT at midnight yesterday she got an email saying her job was no longer open and that every location in Indiana has closed down. Again, an email at midnight let her know she no longer had a job.
And now, her car has a flat tire and she has no way to fix it because the insurance doesn’t cover tires and she has no money.
Steve’s mum is having a really hard time right now so just bear with her disappearance for a bit longer.

Hello, said the Hawk to the Spider | Natasha
Clint stared down at his Algebra II textbook with one hand caught in his hair. It just wasn’t clicking. Nothing on the page made the formula make any more sense. And he needed to pass the next test to keep his grades up. He’d never get a scholarship if he failed math.
Okay, he probably wouldn’t fail if he bombed one test, but he certainly didn’t want to risk it. Normally he’d go to Pepper for homework help, the girl was a genius in her own right, but math meant Tony would be brought it, and the guy was never able to explain things in a way that Clint could understand.
Sighing, Clint pushed away the book so it slid across the large table and rested his head on his arms. Maybe it would be better to take a nap for the rest of his study hall instead. The classroom was just off the side of the library, in case students needed to do research, so it was nice and quiet at least.
