          a  small  sigh  escapes  at  the  knowing  smirk  painted  on  laurie’s  lips  .  “  wow  ,  someone  thinks  very  highly  of  themselves  .  ”  this  thing  between  herself  and  laurie  ?  it’s  casual  .  nothing  serious  .  and  judging  by  all  the  rumors  surrounding  the  blond  and  jia  ?  it’s  definitely  better  off  that  way  .  “  i  suppose  it’s  my  lucky  day  if  i  can  actually  convince  you  to  get  out  on  the  slopes  but  that  doesn’t  seem  likely  .  ”

he catches hayden, hands gripping her shoulders to help them both settle back into place. " wow, someone's excited to see me, " laurie jested, a smirk painted onto his lips. if it were anyone else, he might have been vexed by their encounter — but he'd by lying if he said running into hayden didn't make him feel excited.           laughter  expel’s  past  the  archer’s  lips  and  fondly  shakes  her  head  at  yejin  .  “  alright  fine  .  we’ll  give  it  a  shot  .  but  if  we  get  kicked  out  don’t  say  i  didn’t  warn  you  ,  ”  she  playfully  cautions  .  “  i’m  sure  they  let  you  keep  everything  .  like  …  you  did  win  them  after  all  .  feels  rude  to  take  all  your  prizes  after  spending  money  to  win  it  .  but  i’m  guessing  part  of  the  reason  is  that  they  think  there’s  no  way  a  single  person  can  win  that  many  claw  machine  prizes  without  cheating  .  and  that’s  just  offensive  to  my  skills  !  ”

yejin grins, "of course. i'd never doubt you." she wiggles her fingers before sorting through the bag to pick out the cutest little bear she's ever seen. "it's not an excuse. that's exactly what i'd like to do," she laughs. "well, i've never won that much, but if that does happen do we still get to keep everything? it's not like they'll remember us next time, and we could, you know, hypothetically, come back and do it all over again."

          eyes  will  playfully  narrow  when  she  says  her  and  ace  are  just  friends  .  but  hayden  has  no  reason  to  not  trust  juliette  when  she  says  they’re  just  friends  .  she  has  a  girlfriend  after  all  !  “  i  mean  ,  that’s  great  .  it’s  just  …  ”  she’ll  trail  off  .  “  it  felt  like  there  was  something  there  with  you  and  ace  .  you  literally  asked  me  to  teach  you  about  soccer  when  you  could’ve  asked  him  .  ”

         hum falls from her lips,  she shakes her head.   "not at all. it's great; i freaking ... adore nia! nia trusts me, and i trust her. it's not like i'm into ace or anything."  she is.  and trust juliette  -  she's very good at playing it cool,  and ace may even be questioning her intentions  ...  but juliette has prior committments she can't back down on.  she grins.   "besides, ace and i just friends."

          “  well  i  don’t  think  you’re  gonna  die  !  ”  unless  you’re  unlucky  but  hayden  refrains  from  saying  that  .  she  doesn’t  need  james  to  freak  out  !  “  but  maybe  take  this  as  a  sign  to  start  wearing  sunscreen  ?  apparently  we’re  supposed  to  be  wearing  it  daily  even  when  it’s  cloudy  .  ”

          "fuck - dude, really!?"   he shakes his head,  brows furrowing.   "i've never worn sunscreen in my lfie. am i gonna die or something?"
