me watching vikings 5x19

Alfred: *existing. keeping promises, wishing peace between vikings and Christians*

Me: 

Ivar: *choking out Freydis, refusing to take blame for leaving baby out to the foxes, making the baby’s fate about him*

Me: 

Judith: *dies*

Me: 

Bjorn and Harold:*fighting each other, but are stopped by Gunnhild before doing damage to each other*

Me: 

Ubbe: *fighting Vikings, surviving, UBBE! UBBE! UBBE! chants, being generally wonderful*

Me: 

Hvitsker/Bjorn: *hugging. Bro-ing it out* *plotting against Ivar*

Me: 

Floki: *still doing that cave shit* *still on his arc even though it got fucked*

Me: 

Overall Episode: 

It was an okay episode. Definitely felt like a set up more than anything. But the final looks pretty good! Ivar and Freydis are on the outs, Bjorn/Hvitskerk and I think Ubbe are all combining, so the boys are back together, Judith is finally gone, Floki still on his cave trip. Still wondering what that’s all about, but maybe we’ll get that closure next episode. Can’t wait to see!

me watching vikings 5x18 

Ivar: *pretending to be okay with Thora’s actions and dismisses her, when in reality he’s already gathered those he deems traitors to send to their deaths*

Me: 

Also Ivar: *is excited and crying about his newborn baby, only to discover the baby is deformed. Goes on to leave deformed baby in forest the way Ragnar once did to him.*

Me: 

Alfred: *exists*

Me: 

King Harold: *watching Bjorn marry Gunnhild. Tries to pretend it’s no big deal when really he’s not down with it because he was really into her*

Me: 

Ubbe: *existing and making alliances. Getting cheered by fellow Vikings. Respecting Torvi* 

Me: 

Lagertha: *is found by Judith. Is regarded as being crazy, but is actually seeing visions of Ragnar’s final moments. Literally hear’s his last words and sees his death.*

Me: 

Judith: “And I have two sons…although I murdered one of them…and now I am dying.”

Me: 

Floki: 

“No Kjetill, I won’t. The man I once was, would have dug this spade just deep enough into your skull to make you unconscious. And when you woke up, I would let you witness me burn your wife alive. And then, I would force your one remaining son to cut off your balls and have you eat them. And as you slowly bled out, the last thing you would see is me raping your son. Not knowing if I would show him the mercy of killing him or not. *smiles and laughs*

Me: 

Overall Episode: 

Judging by the preview, Ivar is about to go off on Freydis, he’s about to be attacked on three sides by Bjorn/Harold, Ubbe and Hvtiserk/Olaf. Everything is setting up to be a big finale, I’m hype to see what’s going to happen next.

Me internally: Okay but Edmund literally had to face Jadis in all three of the narnia movies like she literally abused him in the first movie and traumatised him but he still faced her in the final battle and was nearly killed by her if it wasn’t for Lucy like he risked everything to try and get rid of the magic she held because he knew the dangers of it first hand AND then in the second movie he legit watched peter and caspian nearly fall victim to her persuasion just like he did when he was a child and HE had to be the one to snap them out of it and stab her AGAIN and THEN again in the voyage of the dawn treader she shows up again because SHE IS THE LITERAL MANIFESTATION OF HIS GREATEST FEARS AND REGRETS AN-
